“”bold goal” of making 80% of electricity in the U.S. “clean and green” by 2030” -— What a disaster the next few decades will be.
Would someone link to the Beatles’ Taxman?
One of the few that I like.
What we need are taxes on rich liberals and rinos.
I’d be MORE than happy if everything went back to glass bottles, again.
But then, the Socialists would just switch tactics and tax sand. :(
They are laying the groundwork to tax every electronic transaction over $600.
They will tax fuels and anything made from hydrocarbons (like plastic) in order to drive the energy industry into the ground and artificially make wind/solar look financially competitive.
May as well have an air tax. There is nothing without plastic.
This is a sneaky way to take more money from the folks. It’s not going to reduce the quantity of plastic refuse that makes its way to the oceans - that’s a behavior problem - I see tons of trash discarded by stupid humans who have no sense of responsibility. Taxing plastic is not going to change that.
Total takeover of the economy is their goal.
The sheep are waiting to be fleeced. And most of them will be thrilled because they’re being told that the taxes are really hitting the rich hard, which they are not.
Gee isn’t it great to have a phrase like harm the planet to justify any tyranny you can think of?
How many pounds of plastic in new cars? Printers? furniture from China? Where will it stop?
Plastic Heads want to tax Plastic again , how many times is Plastic taxed
Do it. I want watch Schumer ride the shark.
Off Topic....Was Sheldon Whitehouse finally forced to quit that all white membership countty club? Last I heard, BLM was ready to picket his home about it. I was hoping he told BLM to go fly a kite.
Gee, how much are they going to tax Pelosi’s face?
Schumer’s personality?
Does the ass on two legs realize what this will do to health care costs?
Morons, all of them.
So the only citizens who use plastics earn more than $400,000 per year.
The democrats are tax happy. They try to find new ways to go after our money.
The plastics industry is not paying its fair share of grift to K-street?
its never the fiscally responsible approach of spending less. Its always spend more more more!
its amazing that these fools keep getting elected. Even dumb people know that when they don’t have money they can’t buy stuff.
I don’t like taxation as a means of controlling supply and consumption but I hate all of the throwaway plastic we use. From k-cups to the beautiful detergent bottles and drink bottles to the disposable diapers and on and on.
