Yes. those big lower teeth with long roots can damage the nerves. I just hope it recovers some. It makes it awkward to eat or drink. LOL!
50s at night. That sounds like heaven! We’ve been getting down to the high 60s, but it still spikes up during the day to the mid 90s, and that’s just so WRONG! 😝

Ruh roh. Don’t need you dribbling drinks down your chin because your jaw’s numb. LOL
Still waiting for the front to go over us. It WOULD have a few hours ago but TS Mindy came up and stalled it for now.
At least you get lows in the 60s. Our lows have been in the 70s for the most part and they’ve been steamy 70s. We’ve had a few 60s recently.

Man! That Mindy didn’t waste any time, did she! I hope you get a bit of rain out of it anyway. Sorry it stalled your cool front. It’ll be such a nice change.

Yesterday was a nice day but a little warm. We did enjoy our visit to Wichita Ridge yesterday.
As we were walking through the campground we saw a camper with 13 American flags in front of it. AWESOME tribute to our fallen soldiers.
Here are the pics from yesterday.

We aren’t expecting any rain at all from Mindy. There’s no rain in our forecast until next Tuesday. That’s good because now is when we need it to stay dry a while. Harvest has started. I drove past a corn field being harvested this afternoon when I went to pick up Bella’s asthma meds.
My concern regarding Mindy is they said the storm would move east and out over the Atlantic but it’s moving north. And stalling our cold front which is supposed to shove Hurricane Larry away from Bermuda. My oldest cousin lives there so I’ve been keeping close tabs on that storm.
We’ll get our cool temps eventually.

Glad you two had fun. I see Gizmo found a smelly spot to roll in. LOL
Very nice of those campers to set up a memorial to the 13 fallen heroes!

I hope you get the cool weather sooner rather than later.
Guess I’d better head out. See ya tomorrow. I hope Larry manages to miss Bermuda. They will get storm surge if nothing else. Then it heads up to Greenland. What a strange year this has been.

It appears the front is finally moving through. The temp has fallen a few degrees quickly the past half hour or so.
And Larry looks like it finally made a slight right turn and is headed in a more northerly direction. YAY! It’ll still be blustery at Bermuda but not as bad as a direct hit. I found a live cam to watch and will keep tabs on it tomorrow when I wake up. Er, make that later today. LOL

Howdy, EGC! (((hugs))) Glad you had a good day at the lake at Wichita Ridge even though it was warmer than you'd prefer. It has been too warm for September here, too.
I had to go find this picture, which I really like because Giz seems to be enjoying the shade.

Yeah I think he likes that shade too. We’ll see how things go today at Chisolm Trail Park.
