So far, it's a decent compilation of all the facts leading up to 9/11... and a recounting of the events of that day. But, typical Netflix style, they can't help but try to canonize the TRAITOR, Dem. Barbara Lee, who actually voted AGAINST the Authorization of Force that Congress... (ALL but ONE).. granted to W. Not sure how this series will end. But, I'm guessing, it's Anti-US. Good re-counting of events... but, very mis-leading in presentation. But folks, THIS is the story American of today will see, and believe.
9/11 happened on a Tuesday morning. Like most, I will NEVER forget. I was at work, in an inside office at my new company, as of May of that year. My first inkling that ANYTHING was wrong was when, I tried to log on to Free Republic, as I always did, to see the news of the day. The page would not load. Eventually, it started to... and, all I saw was: Plane hits WTC in NYC. I could barely see more. The internet was slowed to a crawl.
I went to my Admin’s desk and we turned on the radio. We heard news reports. I immediately went back to my desk and call my wife. She was watching TV reports. That’s when the 2nd plane hit the WTC. Instantly, my wife and I BOTH KNEW what was happening and we began a prayer, together, for our country.
In the hours to follow, we followed events.. hearing about the towers falling. I spent a few hours contacting our sales people scattered across the US, trying to get back to Louisville. It wasn’t easy. Many had to drive from long distances.
By noon, I decided to leave the office to head home to my wife. I’ll never forget: As I was stopped at a red light, I saw a poor black man standing on the corner. He looked me in the eye, and I him... and, we each gave a short nod to the other. For one moment in time, we each were united in understanding that, we MUST stand together. It was America United. Sadly, it didn’t last.
Half way through Episode 3 now, and of course.. Netflix is attacking Cheney, and Bush... this isn’t going to end well. They’r leading up to Abu Graib, I’m sure.
It ends with Biden about to successfully hand Afghanistan back to the Afghan government and it’s military.

I could not stand to watch fictionalized movies like United 93 or WTC. I can’t stand to think day to watch any nonfiction accounts. About the best I did was the Nova episode, which just said the same thing I knew from the day itself.
It was islam, vs steel. And islam won. 9/11 was the biggest PR Coup of all time.
I figured I’d save myself a lot of angst by not watching.

These evil Netflix producers didn't even bother to mention the names of the brave heroes on Flight 93. No Todd Beame, no "Let's roll". They did show the photo and name of a black female flight attendant and play audio of a call she made.
This is probably the end of my Netflix experience. I've had an account since forever. Probably would have cancelled years ago, but my two sons watch on our account. But, they're grown now. They can get their own.
Still 2 more episodes left. Not sure I can finish it. The last part I saw was a long criticism of our harsh treatment of prisoners at Guantanamo. What breaks my heart is, this tripe is ALL the younger generation will ever know about 9/11.

I was getting our son ready for kindergarten when the first plane hit. When the second tower was hit I knew: “We’re under attack” as I’m sure everybody realized at that moment.
In the same day FR had identified Osama Bin Laden as the likely culprit.
