National Archives Places ‘Harmful Language Alert’ On Page Hosting U.S. Constitution.

The alert now appears on many pages on the archives.org website, and links to a page entitled “NARA’s Statement on Potentially Harmful Content,” which they define as:

reflect racist, sexist, ableist, misogynistic/misogynoir, and xenophobic opinions and attitudes; be discriminatory towards or exclude diverse views on sexuality, gender, religion, and more; include graphic content of historical events such as violent death, medical procedures, crime, wars/terrorist acts, natural disasters and more; demonstrate bias and exclusion in institutional collecting and digitization policies. Bizarrely, the warning does not appear on a page about Jim Crow, which has no fewer than 6 uses of the word “n*gg*r.” Nor does it appear on a page with the word “k*ke.”

It does, however, appear on the page of the U.S. Constitution:

It is harmful language to tyrants, so in a way they are correct. The real problem here is that we do not overthrow the tyrants.

Maoist cultural revolution, pure and simple.

Mao only murdered 80,000,000 Chinese citizens with it.

I wonder how many US citizens are on the menu?

Plenty of freepers get triggered whenever I state that natural born citizens are naturally citizens because they were born here of citizen parents and could not be anything else and that those born with multiple nationalities are not naturally Americans because they are something else.

It’s simple logic.

Just another step in the “Great Transformation” of this country that the Left relentlessly pushes forward.

This is disgusting and pathetic. History isn’t good or bad, it just IS. Certainly bad things happened, sometimes because bad ideas motivated people to do them - but how are we supposed to learn about the sometimes brutal history of our nation and species (with the goal of avoiding a repeat of those events) if the authorities are telling people to be triggered every time they read some document or book?

Once this concept sets in and is viewed by ten percent of the nation - the elites - as appropriate, the move will be made to drag the framed document to a waste water treatment facility back lot for storage until it can be determined how it can be permanently kept off of public property, off the public square, and out of sight.

If they can tear down a statue and hide it, a piece of parchment should be no problem................

Time for a new America and constitution.

Please enumerate what is wrong with the Original Constitution, other than a lack of Term Limits for Congress?

“Every record has been destroyed or falsified, every book rewritten, every picture has been repainted, every statue and street building has been renamed, every date has been altered. And the process is continuing day by day and minute by minute. History has stopped. Nothing exists except an endless present in which the Party is always right.”

Because your obsession with applying foreign law (Vattel) that is in direct conflict with the Anglo-American definition in Blackstone. Which is what the founders used.

All the revolution did was substitute “citizen” for “subject”.

Liberty is dangerous. Can’t have people reading about dangerous concepts like freedom of speech.
