Increased Poison Control Calls due to Ivermectin Ingestion and Potential Toxicity
• The Mississippi Poison Control Center has received an increasing number of calls from individuals with potential ivermectin exposure taken to treat or prevent COVID-19 infection.
• At least 70% of the recent calls have been related to ingestion of livestock or animal formulations of ivermectin purchased at livestock supply centers.
• 85% of the callers had mild symptoms, but one individual was instructed to seek further evaluation due to the amount of ivermectin reportedly ingested.
• No hospitalizations due to ivermectin toxicity have been directly reported to the Mississippi Poison Control Center or the Mississippi State Department of Health.
• There are approved uses for ivermectin in both people and animals. Patients should be advised to not take any medications intended to treat animals and should be instructed to only take ivermectin as prescribed by their physician.
• Animal drugs are highly concentrated for large animals and can be highly toxic in humans. Some of the symptoms associated with ivermectin toxicity include rash, nausea, vomiting, abdominal pain, neurologic disorders, and potentially severe hepatitis requiring hospitalization.
• Mississippi physicians, providers and hospitals that identify patients with illness related to the ingestion of ivermectin, either prescribed or livestock formulations, should report to the Mississippi Poison Control
Center at 1-800-222-1222.

1 Yesterday Japan’s Ministry of Health recalled all Moderna vaccine and declared the immediate national recommendatioon of Ivermectin to all Japan’s doctors:

I’ve wondered at times if a bit of helminthic prophylaxis might not be a good thing for folks to take every 6 months or so.
I’m certain there is a thread somewhere on how to adjust the dosage.

Can someone tell us what the frequency of dosage should be. I was told a small dab in the morning and another small dab at night, for 3 days. Then stop.
How many were simply to ask questions after having the heck scared out of them because of hearing the MSM news, and how many were to report someone for doing this nasty deed or selling this nasty stuff?
Hardly fair to say. There apparently are a great many people taking the non prescription form of these meds. and normally there is only a dosage difference in these meds.
I gave my dog a benadryl once to clear a cough until the vet could see her. I told him and said it didn't do much good. He told me I should have given her 2 tablets instead of 1 and next time just call him and he can convert the medication for her size over the phone. He said every one of her prescriptions was just a human medication in a different doseage.
What a steaming pant load! A mg dosage by mg dosage whether it is for a horse or a human is the same! As long as the dosage of ivermectin is measured out correctly you will have the same effect!
