George H. W. Bush had reason to hate Bill Clinton. Clinton defeated Bush in the 1992 presidential election, only to be impeached after lying about an affair he had in the White House.
And yet, after leaving office, they became the most unlikely of friends—a lesson in humility for the rest of us as we venture into an increasingly acrimonious public square.

Bush’s Post-Presidency, said the first hint of the growing friendship between the two ex-presidents came when Bush gave kind remarks at the dedication of the Clinton library in 2004. Then in 2005, at President George W. Bush’s urging, they visited Asian countries that had been hit by a tsunami.
On the flight over, Clinton insisted that Bush, the older man by more than twenty years, take the only bedroom on the plane. Bush was beginning to show symptoms of Parkinson’s disease, and Clinton stayed by his side on the trip, steadying him when necessary.

Yes, I fully agree. Even though George H. W. Bush's and Bill Clinton's politics were virtually identical, they actually had a friendship. I don't see much difference between the Clintons and the Bushes. Oh yeah, there is one distinct difference. The Bushes call themselves "conservative Republicans" and the Clintons refer to themselves as "Democrats." But other than the names they call themselves, their politics are very similar. Both families are part of the Democrat Party Cabal.
Oh yes, the Bushes once again showed so much humility and kindness when it came to Donald Trump. /s

The Bush family wasn’t great, but one of the biggest problems of the entire Bush family was that they were too trusting of their opponents. Remember GWB “reaching across the aisle” and getting his hand bitten off...and then doing it again.
In the case of Clinton, oddly enough, I’d say he really just cared about Bill, was corrupt and leftwing but didn’t entirely hate the United States, and was willing to go along to get along. (His wife was a different matter.)
But that was a long time ago, and now we have a left wing that has taken over the entire government, academy, and media...and Republicans who are blissfully unaware and still want to believe it’s the same old same old.
It ain’t.
