Taliban rule will be 'a long slow death' for women, Lara Logan says - Lara Logan said 'If you're lucky, you'll just be slaughtered quickly'

After 20 years, the Taliban has once again taken Afghanistan. In numerous interviews Fox News has conducted since the extremist group seized Kabul, a central theme emerged: women will almost certainly face unforgiving brutality despite the Taliban's promises.

Two female journalists independently told Fox News they were barred from their newsrooms and hid out of fear that the Taliban would kill them. One told her story over the sound of gunfire, and the other changes her location every day to avoid getting caught.

Another woman dreamed of becoming a doctor, but lost her job as a midwife once the Taliban came.

After returning to power, the Taliban announced that they would be more permissive than during their previous reign and would give women broader rights, so long as they fell within the bounds of Sharia law. But the experiences described to Fox News seem more reminiscent of the Afghanistan women knew before the U.S. intervened in 2001.

WOMEN NEED CHAPERONES AND MUSIC BANNED IN AFGHANISTAN, TALIBAN SAYS

One woman who lived in Afghanistan as the Taliban climbed to power in the ‘90s told Fox News that her parents feared the Taliban’s brutality so much that they arranged for her to get married at 14 so she could join her husband in Canada.

Lara Logan, a veteran foreign and war correspondent, described what life was like for women under Taliban rule.

"It is a long slow death," Logan told Fox News. "If you're unlucky. If you're lucky, you'll just be slaughtered quickly, because that is what life is like for women under the Taliban, a long slow death"

"It is the end of freedom, it is the end of possibility. It is the end of hope," Logan said, pausing as she held back tears. "It is the end of light."

I have the greatest respect for Lara Logan. One of the few reporters I have "some" trust in. I hope my trust is not misplaced.

That’s just hysteria.
Life for women under that Taliban will be same as it is in any other Sharia dominated country - confined and brutal, but survivable. It isn’t like that hasn’t be the way of things in Islamic countries for almost 1400 years.
Funny how Feminazis don’t seem to care.

We could at least send some social workers to discuss it.

Being an American citizen now is like being a scared kid in the house with a drunken, abusive parent.

You never know what is going to happen next, and when it’s going happen, but you’re pretty sure it’s going to be bad.

A House in the Sky: A Memoir by Amanda Lindhout (A Mother’s Quest to Bring Her Kidnapped Daughter Home ... she got captured and held for ransom, and declared herself Muslim to appease ....)

One of several such books.

The Muslims delighted in hurting her as they forced sex, keeping her constantly chained, insulting her for not learning the Arabic they demanded fast enough. Her main tormentor wanted to pretend she was a little girl which is a common turn-on she found out.

The world allows this “religion” (since the Crusades ended).

The problem is the violent, world-domination ideology that is so cleverly disguised as a religion.

As long as this ideology is spreading, the world will not be safe.

All other solutions will fail. The second best solution was what Trump tried: to keep them out.

If we ever go back in, arm the women and teach them to fight.

Survivable is a great word. Hiroshima was survivable. But you may be right, as long as the women accept the rape and forced marriages they will be fine. Its the dancing boys who should be worried.

And muslims keep telling us how much respect they have for women.

They don’t know the meaning of the word.

Where is the U.N. on this (haha)? Where are the women’s rights groups? When the rubber hits the road, they are nowhere to be seen.

Simple Rules of Engagement with Muslims -

If Infidels are present, Sunni with unite with Shi’a sects to enslave (physical, sex, monetary), convert, and annihilate all Infidels.

If no Infidels present, Sunni will turn against Shi’a until one or the other is enslaved or annihilated.

The rising population of Muslims over 1200 years shows the effectiveness of their tactics.
