I worry that I wouldn't see the gorilla. I multitask like a mad person. Whenever I would have a computer problem our IT guy would say because you've overloaded your system, you've got 4 sessions and 6 websites going. (Bogus argument, but that's an IT guy's bias). But I am tenacious about completing the task at hand, so it's also possible that I would miss the gorilla.
There’s another video where people are passing basketballs, and a ‘gorilla’ walks among them.
In the beginning, the conductors of the experiment give you instructions as to ‘what to look for’.Apparently lots of people are intent on the instructions, and don’t see the gorilla (I suspect that serious b-ball players wouldn’t see the gorilla, either :-):

The old saying;
“I may not agree with what you are saying but I will defend to the death your right to say it.”
Has rung true all through our nation’s history and must not be put aside in these times especially.
Thanks for posting. As an author of long winded commentaries on Theology, I appreciate long articles that clearly give a complete assessment of the topic at hand.
In todays World, everyone wants a short soundbite of information, and all the leads to is people who cannot properly answer a question in a way that is satisfying.
Everyone one wants a quick response to a problem, well not everything can be solved in a sound bite,, and wars cannot be won in two hours like they are in a movie.
That’s wacist
Good article.
“ This is not the grocery company, but a 35 yr old health food publication…however, some people say there is a connection.”
Way back before covid there were those that questioned other vaccines and they were roundly ridiculed as well, but it paled in comparison. IIRC it was on CNN during one of their panels, a guest said “if you want to find non-vaxers just go to Whole Foods.”
Thank you for posting this. It is a pleasure to read this erudite article by Bowden. Kudos to the author. Anyone with half a brain alters their opinion when new data is presented.
We do live in “interesting times.”
The left, unsurprisingly, does not really like Whole Foods, an employee owned company with some independent thinkers.
“Who or what has the power to make the whole world knuckle under to this tyranny?”
That’s easy.... Ol Scratch himself.
