American Military News reports U.S. officials are weighing the possibility of reopening the evacuated embassy in Kabul. According to those familiar with the discussions who spoke to The Washington Post, the request comes from the Taliban. You may recall the U.S. reportedly asked the Taliban to spare the U.S. Embassy earlier this month as its army invaded the Afghan capital and overthrew the sitting government. That was a great look.
At the time, the State Department put out a statement that said, “We are withdrawing our forces from Afghanistan, but we are not withdrawing from Afghanistan. Although U.S. troops will depart, the United States will maintain our robust diplomatic engagement with Afghanistan.” Since then, some members of the administration have blamed the fact we are dealing with the Taliban at all on the Trump administration.
On Friday, when asked about the nature of the U.S. relationship with the Taliban, Press Secretary Jen Psaki said, “As I just said in response to Phil’s question, this is not a preferred relationship. Or a situation that we would have designed if we started from scratch.” Pentagon Press Secretary John Kirby also refused to rule out Taliban involvement in the attack on the Kabul airport that killed 13 American soldiers.

But you did design it Jen!
They heard about Hunter’s art and what an avenue to be able to buy it.
Will scumbag Biden and laughing Kamala show up when the 13 caskets arrive and lie just like Hillary did.

Charles Woods, the father of Navy SEAL Tyrone Woods who was murdered during the 2012 attack on the U.S. compound in Benghazi, Libya, said that then-Secretary Hillary Clinton lied to him about an anti-Muslim video being the cause of the attack and also “stood in front of my son’s flag-draped casket and lied to the American people.
Cover for the atrocities that are about to take place.
They need a way to funnel money to the moslem enemy.
To have a low coefficient of drag for the flow of BiXiden Buck$ [10% for The Big Guy...].
Who would they get stupid enough to want to serve in the embassy there?
And how about a Taliban embassy in DC?
“American Military News reports U.S. officials are weighing the possibility of reopening the evacuated embassy in Kabul.”
The Taliban will use the U.S. embassy’s rainbow flag for target practice.
Why does the Taliban want a U.S. diplomatic presence in Afghanistan? I’ll take a guess at that.
Those folks would make for easy-access hostages should the need arise. In the meantime they’d help facilitate “humanitarian aid” to Afghanistan.
Oh, and a US embassy would be a great place to send restless Afghanis. They could work off steam by yelling at The Great Satan.
It’s a no-lose proposition as far as the Taliban is concerned.
Maybe that’s where they’ll pick up their paychecks.
Somebody has to train those goat-romancers how to fly the Blackhawks, and dopey Joe is more than willing to rubber stamp more pallets of cash and CIA pilots to do so.
B.S.
No they don’t.
This is u.s. media smoke and mirrors to pivot and deflect attention from the flat out complicity and treason.
A diplomatic presence is recognition of the Taliban as the legitimate government of Afghanistan. Very simple.
If they have an US embassy, we can’t bomb the hell out of Kabul. That should have been half our response after 9/11. That would have been after the Bin-Laden compound +25000lb bombing. Then send the message that we will return if things don’t change. I could care less who is in charge. Just keep it in your pants.
How else would they get US foreign aid without an embassy?
So their interior designers recommended Hunter’s art for the walls in the embassy?
