President Joe Biden attempted to reassure Israel of U.S. support on Friday morning, as he met with Israeli Prime Minister Naftali Bennett the day after 13 U.S. troops were killed in a terror attack at the airport in Kabul, Afghanistan.
Biden began by discussing the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in the two countries — in contrast with Bennett, who began by offering condolences to the U.S. on the terror attacks in Afghanistan, and then emphasized the importance of preventing Iran from acquiring a nuclear weapon.
But the president added: “We are also going to discuss the threat from Iran and our commitment to ensure Iran never develops a nuclear weapon. But we’re putting diplomacy first, and seeing where that takes us. But if diplomacy fails, we’re ready to turn to other options.”
Biden faces increasing doubts from allies — including Israel, Taiwan, Ukraine, and others — who are concerned that the disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan means that they can no longer trust American security guarantees.
Bennett thanked Biden: “I was happy to hear your clear words that Iran will never be able to acquire a nuclear weapon and that you emphasized that you will try to take the diplomatic route, but there are other options if that doesn’t work out.”
The two governments are currently at odds over several issues, including Biden’s desire to open a consulate in Jerusalem specifically catering to Palestinians. Israel, which has the right to reject new diplomatic missions on its sovereign territory under international law, believes that the existing U.S. embassy can serve Palestinians, and that a separate consulate would be a step toward dividing the city.
President Donald Trump closed the Jerusalem consulate when moving the U.S. embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem in 2018.

If the PM believed one word out of sleepy Joe’s mouth then Israel is doomed.
Israel and Taiwan and S. Korea have to be VERY nervous with Biden in the White House. ( I look for Iran to move into Iraq sooner rather than later as well.) Their enemies will strike before our electorate can correct the mistake they and the election-thieves foisted on our nation. Biden has been shown to be a impotent, feckless, commander-in-chief. I do not anticipate that changing prior to 2024 and if Kamala takes over before then it will likely be the same or worse, as the same puppeteers will be pulling the strings behind the curtains. Puppeteers who have demonstrated a desire to fundamentally change (read that destroy) America.
On the contrary, Taiwan, Japan, Vietnam and South Korea have a clear message. Nuke up. Japan and Taiwan already are. China is checkmated.
They will be nuked because of the feckless US. So China’s world domination plan is gonna get their faces nuked.
Biden has done NOTHING to reassure Americans, but is trying to reassure Israel. Shows you who he thinks is more important. I’ll bet he would be quick to defend Israel’s borders but refuses to defend our borders.
All the headline needed to say was “Biden Struggle”

“C’mon man! Look. Look, Israel, you have nothing to worry about. Like I told Sarah Palin, Israel will never have a better friend than Barack Obama. And he’s still here when I can get him off the golf course....huh? Hello?...I think we were cut off.”

If they do not have nuclear weapons, they are morons and deserve to be conquered by China.
Biden and the Rats would love to wash their hands of Israel if they thought they could get away with it. It’s not hard to figure out who they sympathize with.
At the end of his meeting with Bennett Biden gave props to Obama and the work that he did on behalf of Israel. Funny thing is Obama hated Israel. He stabbed them in the back at the UN in his last days in office. Even sent Bibi out the kitchen door exit at the White House.
I doubt Putin would be sending them $5 billion in aid every year though, since AIPAC doesn’t control their Congress like it does ours.

It was obviously the other way round. Israel reported to Biden that although he was now irrelevant in the dealings with Iran that Israel and coalition allies had the situation in hand
Israel has always defended its own borders. Israel just does not want friends to tell them they must not do so and threaten them if they do.
Biden is trying to reassure our allies. But he has shown weakness. More importantly, Biden wants to resume the deal where we protect Iran’s nuclear weapons program against Israel
