CHICAGO - A Chicago mother says a Cook County judge has taken away her parental rights after learning that she is not vaccinated against COVID-19.
In what all parties agree is a very unusual and perhaps unprecedented step, a judge at Chicago’s Daley Center has stripped Rebecca Firlit of custody because she refuses to get a vaccination shot.
"I miss my son more than anything. It's been very difficult. I haven't seen him since August 10th," Firlit told FOX 32 News in an exclusive interview.
Snip
"You have to understand the father did not even bring this issue before the court. So it’s the judge on his own and making this decision that you can’t see your child until you’re vaccinated," Fernholz added.

So this is an action taken entirely by the judge. The pressure is building.
I know one action which seems called for.
This, without a doubt, the mark of the beast.
Due process is no longer the law of the land.
When questioned by a judge about your vaccination status plead the fifth! Wow! This judge is acting like a god! These people are nuts and drunk with power!
The judge is making an example out of her.
Of course maybe someone needs to make an example out of the judge?
Welcome to the USSA, comrades. The State owns your children.
Due process is nothing but a cash cow for lawyers and job security for civil "servants"
Never mind .... the same way we were told there is a pandemic.
I completely agree. Something is really missing here that would really add clarity to why this happened the way it did. I simply cannot believe with the evidence we’ve seen that this is simply a case of taking away someone’s child because they’re not vaccinated. We need more information.
The question is...... why is such an evil judge stoll breathing?
That’s the day Firlit appeared in court via Zoom along with her ex-husband for a child support hearing involving their 11-year-old son. The two have been divorced for seven years and share custody and parenting time.
She says out of the blue, Cook County Judge James Shapiro asked her whether she had been vaccinated. Firlit told Shapiro she had not because she has had bad reactions to vaccines in the past.
Shapiro then ordered that Firlit be stripped of all parenting time with her son until she gets vaccinated.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The attorney representing the father, Jeffrey Leving, says they were also surprised by the judge's decision, but they support the ruling saying that given the pandemic, the child should be protected from an unvaccinated mother.
No, he didn't pick her at random off the street. No, he has no right to do this. There's a video and mom tried to clean herself up but looks like she's had some experience with drugs. Could be totally clean now though. "Out of the blue" yet the husband's lawyer agrees with the judge? Maybe not so out of the blue. Maybe judge Shapiro and husband's atty Leving know each other outside the courtroom.
Waayyy overstepping power here, judge.
It is not nearly so obvious to me that the judge is evil.
The mother clearly has problems and it is probably much better for the son to be with his father. The law probably does not allow termination of parental rights for the real reason the judge did this, but he found a way to work around that issue.
There is either a history with this woman and the judge is using a convenient legal excuse to get the kid away from her or the judge is a crazy tyrant. Which is more likely?
This judge is now guilty of violating the Nuremberg code, as well as US Code 18 / 242.
Should be immediately impeached and imprisoned.
The authorized penalties for violating 18/242 includes death.
Whatever else may be involved, yet the fact is that being unvaccinated was the issue.
The legal problem, of course, is that because these “vaccines” are in interstate commerce under federal law, and Congress has legislated on the issue of Emergency Use Authorization of what is available, it must control the outcome. So federal law says the mother has the right to refuse experimental treatments, but a state judge disagrees. It used to be a free country with free elections, but no more.
