Abstract Background Immune protection following either vaccination or infection with SARS-CoV-2 decreases over time.

Objective To determine the kinetics of SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibodies following administration of two doses of BNT162b2 vaccine, or SARS-CoV-2 infection in unvaccinated individuals.

Methods Antibody titers were measured between January 31, 2021, and July 31, 2021 in two mutually exclusive groups: i) vaccinated individuals who received two doses of BNT162b2 vaccine and had no history of previous infection with COVID-19 and ii) SARS-CoV-2 convalescents who had not received the vaccine.

Results A total of 2,653 individuals fully vaccinated by two doses of vaccine during the study period and 4,361 convalescent patients were included. Higher SARS-CoV-2 IgG antibody titers were observed in vaccinated individuals (median 1581 AU/mL IQR [533.8-5644.6]) after the second vaccination, than in convalescent individuals (median 355.3 AU/mL IQR [141.2-998.7]; p<0.001). In vaccinated subjects, antibody titers decreased by up to 40% each subsequent month while in convalescents they decreased by less than 5% per month. Six months after BNT162b2 vaccination 16.1% subjects had antibody levels below the seropositivity threshold of <50 AU/mL, while only 10.8% of convalescent patients were below <50 AU/mL threshold after 9 months from SARS-CoV-2 infection.

Matches what my doc has been quietly telling me. Natural immunity (Which I have from a Covid infection) is better than the vax

What does this mean?

Natural immunity gives better protection against Covid, then do the vaccines.

It means the shots are NFG.

What does this mean?

Booster shots every 6 months for the rest of your life, or until you contract COVID and gain natural immunity.

Initial study that the Pfizer vaccine provides less immunity than “natural” immunity (getting and recovering from covid). And that the shots wear off rapidly.

And they still keep blocking the release of Novavax in the U.S., even though it has passed safety and efficacy testing with flying colors.
It seems that everyone else in the world gets Novavax except us...and it's made here!

The article must not have passed through BigTech filters yet.

Telltale signs
1. No obligatory {extremely rare} or {debunked|false} attributes on comments suggesting vax not as effective as natural immunity or us associated with serious risks.
2. No TrumpSlamming.
3. No mention of how Climate Change or Race involved in the problem.

No. They are just as good as other flu vaccines whose effectiveness fades quickly, both because the immune response is weaker and because the virus mutates quickly.

Because that's what this is, a bad flu virus.

study of antibody titer decay

Is that when they droop down to the navel?

“Is that when they droop down to the navel?’

Nope.... it’s when you can throw them over your shoulder.

Thanks.

My daughter works as a nanny for a doctor. She is unvaxxed and cleared her COVID quarantine yesterday thus has massive natural immunity.

Her vaxxed employers got it from her and were far sicker but are pushing her to get the vaccine.

The doctor said she was open to doing more research so I sent this to my daughter.

It would indicate that the shots are only good for a single “flu season” and give zero long-term immunity.

I’m not sure I understood all I read, but it would seem to me that natural immunity is always better than vaccines.

LOL

Sorry for the geek speak.

“Titer” is a short hand for “Titration”, a type of chemical test used to measure concentration.

This is high level science nerd. It will be main stream in two weeks (probably a Labor Day drop).

From what I gathered reading the article, initially the vaxed person will have a higher number of antibodies than someone who acquired antibodies through actually having covid, however, the antibodies in the vaxed person deteriorate far more quickly than the rate of deterioration in someone with natural antibodies.

Booster shots every 6 months for the rest of your life, or until you contract COVID and gain natural immunity.

Or wear a vaccine pump at all times.

vaccines wear off quickly and have a lot of side effects, but if you get it, you will feel better about yourself, and the vaccine companies and fauci will make a lot more money
