Even though the Biden administration has 5 days left until August 31st, CNN is reporting that the Biden administration will conclude evacuations from the country in 36 hours.

John Berman and Brianna Keilar said Thursday on New Day that government sources have told the network that the Afghan evacuation effort will wrap up in another day and a half. The news comes just after Secretary of State Antony Blinken insisted that 1,500 Americans at the most are still in Afghanistan and need help escaping the country....

this seems to coincide with the stories of the welding of gates and blowing up whatever the marines are blowing up on the airfield side

I want to know why the qualifier of “if they want to leave” is always applied to people still there. Who in their right mind would WANT to stay there?

I want to know how it ends up a different color every day. I see she plans on leaving her job in 2022 - by that time, she’ll be bald from the dyes she uses on her hair. MAYBE those dyes have affected her brain. I worked with a gal once who really did go bald from coloring her hair constantly.
