JUST IN - Large explosion at Abbey gate at the #Kabul airport.
Jen Griffin was taking some questions from the FOX guys on The Five, yesterday I believe (my dad watches - I could hear it in the kitchen). She knows what is going on. She said that ISIS hates the Taliban. They would like nothing more than to embarrass the Taliban & of course, get revenge on the US. The impression I got was that things were going to erupt prior to Biden’s DEADline .... the Taliban won’t be able to hold off ISIS from ‘bad acts’/violence.
When the security alerts went out from the US & UK to stay away from the gates, do not try to get to the airport, I saw somewhere (so much going on, I can’t recall exactly where) that they were worried about suicide bombers .... with the masses at the gates, plus UK/American soldiers at checkpoints, etc., it makes perfect ‘terrorist’ sense that they (ISIS in particular) would use suicide bombers.
The UK is telling their people to head for the Afghanistan borders, if they can. They have to evacuate prior to the US troops so their time has about run out to get their people.

This guy is an utter catastrophe for our country, and he’s only getting started.
Even the Democrats should be appalled by what they’ve done to install this demented dipwad.
What a party of pure evil — all through the history of this country...

Exactly. Why in the world would you abandon a secure, defensible airbase with two runways, for a unsecured, non defensible airport with one runway in the middle of a city?
There is no excuse for these decisions.
Exactly right...They have probably surrounded the airport already and will move toward a massive kill. The Taliban will not get this chance to kill so many enemies again.

There was an explosion outside the Abbey Gate at Kabul airport, U.S. officials confirm to Fox News.
It’s not clear how many people are potentially injured or killed.
Last night, there were 5,000 Afghans and potentially some Americans outside Abbey Gate at the airport.
This explosion, again, it’s unclear how big, comes hours after the State Department warned Americans outside the gates of the Kabul airport to “leave immediately” due to the increasing terrorist threat.

We will now see a frantic departure by the allies from the airport. Ollie North said the Turks pulled out last night. The Turks were supposed to be the last ones out of the airport to hold the perimeter. Their Muslim identity was supposed to protect them. Probably did since they left early.
