Vaccine-passport requirements have come to Gotham. Restaurants have started asking patrons to see their vaccination cards along with IDs to dine inside. Starting Sept. 13, restaurants, museums and certain other indoor venues not doing that will be fined.
Why? It’s part of a larger movement to control and punish those who dare to disobey COVID edicts.
We’ve known for some time that restaurants are not major COVID-19 spreaders. You’re not catching COVID standing near someone for a few minutes at the Guggenheim. The main source of COVID transmission is close, prolonged contact. In other words, if you’re going to contract it, it will most likely be from your dining or museum companion, not a stranger nearby. So why bar unvaccinated New Yorkers from participating in city life?
The idea is no longer mainly to persuade people to get vaccinated but to punish them for not following orders. Authoritarianism is always done “for our own good,” you see. Under totalitarian regimes, punishment camps are called “re-education” camps, to teach you how to be a better person in society.
The vax mandate is the natural progression from the kind of cruelty that has reigned through the pandemic. Whether it was screaming at unmasked people in low-risk situations outdoors or reporting your neighbors for gathering with friends and family, the severity with which we’ve treated each other has been intense. “We’re better than those people” has been a hallmark of the pandemic among people who’ve actually been the worst.
We’ve turned a virus into a moral test. You can catch it even if you’ve masked, even if you’ve been vaccinated, but if you don’t mask up and get jabbed, you deserve to be sick.

We went from “Two weeks to flatten the curve” to “Not until you show me your papers” in a little over a year.

I was harrassed by a waitress in a restaurant/bar in the Seattle area a few months ago. The place was packed and everyone sitting down was maskless. We walked in with masks on and saw there were no other people wearing masks, so we took them off.
The waitress came up to us and told us we had to wear a mask. Long story short, it got ugly and they kicked us out. As we’re walking out, I said something (I honestly forgot what it was) but they offered to seat us so we wouldn’t have to wear masks. We declined and went to another restaurant/bar where they didn’t care if we wore masks.
I simply will not patronize a place that requires customers to wear masks at any time. If the rest of us anti maskers would do the same, this would end real quick. But people want to get along. :(
Grow a spine, folks! Take a stand. There are things more important than getting along. Christ and the apostles didn’t “get along” with the powers of the time.
Clinical trial details? Number of subjects? Number of controls? Randomization? Double-blind? Public data? Public review? Side Effects data? 3-year mortality data?
BTW, any rats used in the clinical trials? How many died?
Oh, I forgot, you don’t need rats now–you got us humans to be your guinie pigs.
Long term vax mortality rate? Who knows? Used to be part of FDA clinical trials–but somehow magically got a waiver. I guess we humans will provide the long-term mortality data. If that us the case, you can start at 14,000 deaths (probably much higher).
I have now lost all respect for these government agencies: FDA jacks up the approvals, CDC jacks down the VAERS vax death rates, and NIH pretends it is doing objective science, while raking in the $$$ from the moderna patents.
The 3 agencies are now just cheap PHARMASTITUTES: doing there part to keep the freedom-sucking “emergencies” going–at least through the 2022 and 2024 elections.
FDA + NIH + CDC + clueless Biden = death to the USA as we knew it. Our poor children will grow up in a totalitarian hell-hole of a country.
God, please intervene and save us.

Vax and mask mandates are the vanguard of the ChiCom social credit system. Unless stopped, all cultural and political opponents will be ostracized. If you need a reason to resist the social pressure to get jabbed, this is it. Non compliance defeats the state’s power to coerce short of using force.

Today, the morning news here in Knoxville reported that the local theaters will require vaccines. They didn’t mention the large movie theater chains, but only the smaller “artsy” venues. So far.
Weird combo. Conservative whites, blacks, and PhDs...
