LAS VEGAS (FOX5) – The Las Vegas Raiders are the first team in the National Football league to implement a vaccine policy for fans during home games. Seeing the Silver and Black faithful in person has been a long time coming for Raider Nation, however it’s a fan base now split with the new vaccine mandate at Allegiant Stadium this season.
"I completely agree with that. I'm vaccinated and I'm ready to get in," Raiders fan Louis Zabala said.
Some season ticket holders said the vaccine is choice.
“Not being vaccinated is a choice. I don’t see why the government and the Raiders need to get into that,” Raiders season ticket holder Pasquale Buonsante said.
The Raiders will require all attendees to show proof of vaccination using the CLEAR free mobile app. The vaccination requirement will allow fans to enjoy Raiders football without wearing a mask. Fans whoa re partially vaccinated can still attend, but will have to wear a mask.
For attendees who aren't vaccinated, there will be a pop-up vaccine clinic at every Raiders home game, and fans can get their shot and go into the game...

I wonder if they will refund the fans who bought season tickets, that refuse to be vaccinated.
Sounds like they aren’t willing to roll the dice.

Boy have we come a long way since Stabler and company. I could care less about pro football.
Men who get paid millions to play with balls.
It’ll be a cold day before that woke organization gets any of my money.
If white folks would stop living their lives vicariously through a sports team and or athlete, the nfl would be broke already.
What’s the NFL? I know not of such an organization
Football is a declining sport. Skip it
The NFL just can’t stop killing itself!
It was already on the ropes with all the CTE (brain injury) revelations. Add in a big dose of woke and being agents of the biomedical security state, and the whole thing needs to just go away.
Take a shot and go join the noisy crowd. Politely ask the person next to you to call for help if you go into anaphylactic shock.
Enjoy the game
Bingo. It shows why kneeling was so easy. The NFL is in the business of selling cowardly viewers to advertisers.
A decent lawyer should be able to extract a refund out of the fascist Mengele Raiders.
Pro sports is a declining sport. When the LA kings went woke, along with the NHL, I ditched them too.
A couple thoughts...
1. Even if the vaccines were highly efficacious (which they really aren’t based on the numerous breakthrough infections), it is anti-scientific to somehow claim that there’s a qualitative difference between the unvaxxed and the fans who just got the jab at the door. It’s utterly asinione.
2. Vegas visitors are among the most covid-laissez-faire people in the country right now. I was there recently, and though the hotels all have signs about mandatory masks on the casino floors, compliance is pretty low in my observation. Some of the restaurants that have outdoor seating areas weren’t even utilizing them on the grounds that guests didn’t care. So I’m guessing that this is a situation in which the Raiders really aren’t on the same page as most of their potential spectators.
*asinine
I grew up in the Bay Area, living in Castro Valley until 73-74. I loved the A's and Raiders, it was a golden era of sports for me. Kenny Stabler was a big part of it. He was The Man when the game was on the line.
I follow one team/one sport now: the Gonzaga Bulldogs men's basketball team...make that two teams: the Washington Wizards, as two former Zags play for them, Rui Hachimura and Corey Kispert.
LOL, 5 minutes after the Wizards drafted Corey Kispert, my 11 YO grandson ditched his Luka/Mavericks gear for the Wizards.
Didn’t know there were any NFL fans left.
