The game was in motion for a long time. Hell there were negotiations with the Taliban in some hotel in Singapore or some other place a few years back. But these clowns were the ones left standing when the music stopped and there was no place left to sit. So therefore they get to own it and wear it. In our attention-span-of-a-gnat twitter driven politics these images of helicopters and wailing of women will be firmly linked to these clowns. An argument could be made that they just happened to be standing when the music stops but in a karma sense it’s balanced out by their illegitimacy, their incompetence and malevolence.
