They are scrounging for food here. This is such a cluster that they do not have logistics in place.
Some folks around here were saying that the military was prepared for this.
Plans are only as good as the leadership's ability to execute them.
The current military leadership is a bunch of woke clowns--there was no chance they were ready for prime time.

Some folks around here were saying that the military was prepared for this. My SIL is in the 82nd. There was no planning other than general readiness to leave at a moment's notice. He was deployed Thursday night. They can do that any day, but they don't anticipate 60+k at the Kubul airport, or waiting around off base state side for days on end. They expect to pickup and go. The chain of command has been indecisive. I believe that goes up through woke generals, the low-IQ racist DefSec and a senile resident.
