This is manifestly not Saigon,

Operation Frequent Wind in Vietnam was a carefully choreographed ballet compared to the Kabul Cluster F***. Plans were made ahead of time, roofs of evacuation sites were cleared of antennas and clotheslines and reinforced for helicopters if needed. A warning sign was played over the radio (White Christmas) to tell those in the know that it was time to leave.

Now compare that to the last days of Afghanistan. No, Joe, it is certainly not Vietnam. The Saigon evacuation was much, much better.
