She’s a woman. “Safety” above everything else. Including freedom.

It’s why women should NEVER be SC justices.

While I dont like to see schools require such things of its student body any more than I like to see employers require such things of employees, I guess I would ask you or anyone else here complaining about Barrett not taking up the case on what constitutional basis would the government come in and tell a private or even state institution that this is unconstitutional? If its not in the Constitution, power is reserved to the state or the people, is it not?

I dont clearly see a federal role here. Like you have the choice to find a new job if you dont like what your employer requires, a student has the choice to go somewhere else for education as well.

If the school is getting federal dollars then there may be strings on those dollars for forms of discrimination, but the way the discrimination laws are written, I dont think discriminating by vax’ed/not vax’ed falls under those statutes.

Sorry for students at the schools who are being told this, but just like businesses getting woke and going broke, maybe this needs to happen with educational institutions as well.

I am open to here arguments why USSC should take this. Perhaps the argument presented to USSC was not a good one and needs to be reframed as one of privacy rights or something?

She’s obviously a terrible pick but there is also the issue with the Supreme Court not wanting to get packed by Biden.

Agreed, he’s bad on the LGBT issues, but he’s proven to be unafraid of controversy on things like so-called “voting rights” and crime.

“Another Trump winner... At what point is he responsible for anything?”
President Trump got his list of judges from an esteemed conservative foundation. Made that list of judges public for anyone and everyone to review and comment upon. Not one peep from any conservative group or organization. Not person a bad word to say about those on that list.
It is not Trump’s fault that so many so-called “conservative” judges are gutless wimps when faced with decisions that they will get heat for taking.

She was recommended by the Federalist society that apparently supports judges which always side with the Federal government; which is the opposite of Federalism.

State matter and not a federal one. Would anyone want the Supreme Court to say that the governors of Florida or Texas couldn’t issue their no-mask orders?

Trump doesn’t blame her.

He suggested they have threatened her and her family and she is rightfully scared for their lives.

He included Kavanaugh in that assessment.

Was no one paying attention?

You can lament that they don’t have the faith or the courage to risk
their families lives for the country, but remember that these were
candidates that actually got allowed in by the Derp State.

Kinda hard to get anyone with heroic courage through that gauntlet.

Pray that they find their Faith before it’s too late.

Trump sure can pick ‘em.

I hope, for his sake, he is a lot better at hiring for his own businesses.

Good job.
