The Terminator has a harsh message for those Americans who oppose wearing masks during the latest COVID-19 outbreak: "Screw your freedom."
Former California Republican Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger made the comments during a videotaped interview released Wednesday.
"Because with freedom comes obligations and responsibilities," the 74-year-old actor-turned-politician said in a YouTube interview with CNN's Bianna Golodryga and former NSC staffer Alexander Vindman, according to The Hill newspaper.
"Yeah, you have the freedom to wear no mask. But you know something, you're a schmuck for not wearing a mask because you're supposed to protect the fellow members around you," Schwarzenegger added.
All three were not wearing masks in the video as they held the discussion, though each were appearing from an individual setting.
Schwarzenegger also offered words of encouragement, saying, "It's better to get vaccinated [and] to wear a mask."

Was he wearing a mask. Was it a cloth one that if you follow the science shows it does nothing except restrict your breathing.

Honestly, I don't even think that's true. I guess it sounds nice. It's sort of a knee-jerk, Peter Parker type of sentiment. But I think Freedom is Freedom. If you layer a lot of obligations and responsibilities on me, then it's not Freedom, it's some kind of transactional relationship. And when did I sign up for that?

Agree completely. Freedom is just freedom. It has no requirements other than nobody gives it to you. You have to take it.
In terms of total victory, our side never seems to look at the bright side. With the fear, wild paranoia and hysteria exhibited by the left regarding COVID, all it would take to get then off the battlefield and under their beds is another real or imagined viral scare. I’m sure there are many ways this could be done.

He also invited the wonderful UN Secretary Kurt Waldheim to his wedding to Maria Shriver in 1986, a month AFTER the news broke of Waldheim having been a Nazi which he had denied. So, yes, he seems to have an affinity for authoritarianism which we don’t.
