Dominion Voting Systems’ defamation lawsuits against the attorneys Sidney Powell and Rudy Giuliani and MyPillow and its CEO Mike Lindell can move forward, a federal judge ruled Wednesday, dismissing the Trump allies’ motions to have the billion-dollar litigation thrown out over procedural issues and claims that they didn’t defame Dominion with their discredited allegations that the company was involved in election fraud that delivered the presidential election to Joe Biden.

Unless the judge limits it.
my guess is that dominion has bottomless pockets.
“their discredited allegations that the company was involved in election fraud”
Forbes, part of the problem.
Doesn’t seem discredited to me
AS long as they are on defense, they cannot be on offense.
U.S. District Judge Carl J. Nichols is a Trump appointee who appears, to me at least, to be a bad pick based upon past decisions, but we shall see.
They’ll probably drag it as long as possible to use as a campaign issue then settle out of court with a sealed agreement.
Yes, when Dominion does discovery on the Kraken we could find out who has been feeding bad info to embarrass the pubs.
I will defame dominion…
their stuff is garbage
Their management is scum
T
The Forbes author of this hit piece has already decided the case, it looks like
Of course they do and the burden is really on Powell, Giuliani, and Lindell.
Dominion has the ENTIRE Left Wing apparatus on their side and unlike Powell, Giuliani, and Lindell, they’ll have an army of radical Leftist lawyers begging to work for free. Whereas Powell, Giuliani, and Lindell will have to pay for theirs, out of pocket.
Interestingly, you can usually tell what political party the judge comes from and who nominated them by the headlines, or at least within the first few sentences. Not so in this case. This guy was nominated by President Trump. Although, as we’re learning that doesn’t mean a whole lot. At the time, the President was relying on information he believed was legitimate, not thinking that so many of those people in DC could be that corrupted, IMHO.
The judges that were nominated and confirmed were ones that McConnell approved of.
So, this guy is another Robert’s type or had a sit down with some folks.
Not likely. With a suit this size, Dominion will have to prove beyond a doubt that their machines had no impact on the elections. Either way,Rudy for sure is going to have to keep begging for cash to pay his attorneys
Bad news. Corrupt judiciary. Dominion is just using the suit to silence the opposition.
They Dominion will request limited discovery based on “trade secretes”, an appeals court would likely agree with the defendants position. Dominion never intends this to get that far and will try to financially bleed out Lindell, Giuliana and Powell.
Forbes? No longer reliable.
let’s hope that Dominion gets caught with their tit in the wringer and loses what little credibility they have along with billions of dollars, their pay for fixing the election of 2020.
I don’t think so. They know that if they win, hey won’t get much from Rudy or Sidney. Lindell they can squeeze for $100M or so. Fox, OAN and Newsmax a bit more.
They need to make it seem like they are the best, most reliable systems in the world. They need that to be the message out there ASAP to sell machines for the mid-terms, and to do so need to absolutely crush all the defendants.
“The discovery in this case will be interesting….”
The problem is that Dominion is a ruse. The machines only count the ballots. Hand counts after more-or-less confirmed the machine counts.
To steal the election they needed to create fake ballots. Anything other than looking at those was a distraction.
Dominion was launched by the Deep State as a bright shiny object to distract conservatives from the real crime.
Since they know the Dominion machines are clean, they are now using these lawsuits to destroy conservative media outlets and harm those investigating the real crime.
Not true. There are such things as counter suits.
