More than 700,000 people are flooding the South Dakota badlands this week for what will surely be the COVID-19 superspreader event of the year, the 81st annual Sturgis Motorcycle Rally.
We can hope the majority of attendees are vaccinated. But last year’s rally took place in blatant defiance of recommended health and safety protocols, resulting in hundreds (and likely thousands) of infections nationwide. “Screw Covid. I went to Sturgis,” read T-shirts sold at the event. With the delta variant already raging, the consequences of this year’s event could be horrific.

My wife and I, both in our sixties, had COVID-19/CCP-1984 in January/February of 2020 before it had a name and survived it without doctor visits or drugs, and I have the IgG and IgM antibodies to prove it.
We had it and we recovered with none of the lingering effects alleged by the fear-mongers.
The REAL thing we should be concentrating on is THIS WAS A BIOLOGICAL ATTACK BY THE CHINESE COMMUNIST PARTY ON EVERY HUMAN BEING ON EARTH.

Don’t know anybody who’s had the delta variant. I’ve read, often, that it’s more contagious and less deadly than the “original” covid. Today, the cuddly Dr. Marc Siegel on Fox, said it’s as horrible as the original. Presumably fewer people are dying because of the shots.
Either way, a lot of people won’t be taxed or penalized, because they just got here through the open borders and they won’t be any more interested in paying taxes or penalties, than they were about breaking the law about entering the country.
Only the law-abiding have to worry about taxes and penalties.
