President Biden said Tuesday that his administration is examining whether he can order universal masking in public schools, overriding Republican governors in states like Florida and Texas.
“I don’t believe that I do [have that power], thus far,” Biden told reporters during an event in the East Room of the White House. “We’re checking that.”
Last month, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommended masking for all students, faculty, staff and visitors in K-12 schools last month due to the spread of the Delta variant.
However, Florida Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis has dismissed the CDC recommendation. After initially banning school districts from imposing mask mandates and suggesting funding cuts for those that do require masking, the governor suggested Monday that the state could “move to withhold the salary” of local officials who make face coverings mandatory.

Next is the mandate that all Democrat registered females be impregnated to ensure an adequate number of future Democratic voters. Not kidding about the slippery slope this can lead to.

Biden said this the day before his handlers extended the eviction moratorium extension.
And they called Trump a dictator. Trump recognized state’s rights. Trump didn’t issue nationwide mandates. The Constitution means nothing to Biden’s handlers.
He got the rent moratorium right too and went ahead with it anyway. Laws are for the little people.
Red State governors should strengthen their guard units and form a union to oppose any actions by Federal Troops under NAZI puppet Milley to enforce such actions by this fraudulent communist tyrant
If they control funding then they can pull it over this. No need to change the law
This is the failure of our media monopoly. When PDJT was in office they made sure to be VERY CLEAR that the POTUS doesn’t have such power and that only GOVERNORS do under emergency powers.
Now crickets.
Or say it affects interstate commerce. Illness affects interstate commerce. SCOTUS will uphold any law that Congress passes on the basis of "affects interstate commerce."
