HANOI, Aug 8 (Reuters) - Vietnam's health ministry reported 9,690 coronavirus infections on Sunday, a record daily increase and up from 7,334 cases on Saturday.
Most of the new infections were detected in the epicentre Ho Chi Minh City and the neighbouring provinces of Binh Duong and Dong Nai, the ministry said.

Vietnam still has a (big) problem on our hands.
We desperately need more vaccines. Less than 10% of the population has received, even one shot.
Less than 1%, have been fully vaccinated yet.
Please send more vaccines!! America, are you there?

Not gonna click on the rrhoiders link. Just tell me whether or not the article states how many have since recovered and how many even experienced any symptoms.
The virus must’ve moved over from Japan because all we heard in the lead up to the Olympics were record outbreaks day after day in that country. Haven’t heard a word about the count in Japan the past two weeks so i guess the virus left.

That is why I mentioned it is only recently, this has been happening in Vietnam.
For the last year, Vietnam had been (very) successful against this.
The Delta variant is a big change. At least it seems so, here.
Once again, we need lots of vaccines.

Why not help them with supplements that studies show can help?
Have them get the Ziverdo from India, otherwise. Their COVID-19 cases are minuscule in number, now.
Why request the expensive vaccines with possible issues at a high cost?

I really think it is ok to move forward, together now.
Two entire new generations have grown up here, and in America. I did not go to Vietnam but I was very close. For a while it was not good between our two countries, but now we have real relations again.

We get that many illegals every 4 days and a quarter of them have some type of disease, yet nothing is done about it except to bus them all over America to infect the citizens!
