Many vaccinated people are angry at those who aren't. If you've had your Covid shots, you may agree with Gov. Kay Ivey of Alabama, who said recently: "Folks supposed to have common sense, but it's time to start blaming the unvaccinated folks, not the regular folks. It's the unvaccinated folks that are letting us down."

If those cheap masks “worked”, people would pass out in minutes from oxygen deprivation after putting one on. I always point out to mask Karens that if you can breath out of your mask and see water vapor on a mirror, that means zillions of virus particle can also pass in/out through that mask, since those particles are about 1000 times smaller than those water molecule clusters passing through.

Since the CDC and the WHO both say that getting vaccinated does not stop the transmission of the virus, what are these people talking about?

Being vaccinated or not being vaccinated is not a factor in whether someone will get the covid.

This is about continuing to instill fear in people and shaming those who choose not to get the vaccines.

Vaccinating people in the miuddle of a pandemic only creates variants and more deaths. It make matters worse, not better.

Our country was created because of the need for choice, religion, region of the world, unjust laws, and a desire for personal freedoms were all particulars in the decisions of the people coming together to create what the world considers the best country in the world displayed by their efforts to get here even defying death to do so.

We chose to elect our officials, instead of just appointing them, to oversee the government by the people for the people, and they have continually displayed their failures in the trust we employed them to do.

We made laws to protect us, and they make a concerted effort to find ways to get by them creating their own hypocrisy for their own means.

Who doesn’t have the choice to take the shot? The lawmakers that are playing the game not the way the laws were intended. Are the lawmakers confident with the vaccines the way they are? No as they will not certify them for use except under a purposefulness approval, just one to cover their keysters.

Who takes the blame for the failure to protect the populous? The lawmakers. And they display it with coming out with vaccines, misleading the public on their capacity, then take the spotlight off themselves by blaming someone else for its failure, the people making the choice the lawmakers couldn’t shove down their throats with the lawmakers not even sure what the vaccines will do damage to.

And the punishment to the populous making that decision this country was created for, public degradation and attacks by the very people that wanted the choices orchestrated by the lawmakers who had the most to lose if the vaccines failed.

But the most witless of the whole dog and pony is that the vaccines were never created to stop the virus. They were given to try to slow hospitalizations and death percentages in younger people while they wrote off the aged. It’s like in a Star Trek movie, “the good of the taxpayers outweighs the good of the ones that got them there and draw social security.” And that decision is made by the very people that need the money to spend to make themselves a job. Cushy, huh?

Maybe , just maybe they are finally awakening to the fact they have been duped, lied to- fear that the vaccines are becoming a failure ( jabbed must still wear masks), fear of more lockdowns, fear of the called for boosters, jealousy of those that never got jabbed? Maybe the reason the unvaccinated wind up in the hospital is because doctors are not prescribing HCQ or Ivermectin when the people catch covid.

So then the unvaccinated have no choice but to go to the hospital.

I live in Los Angeles and doctors don’t prescribe HCQ, or they say they don’t treat covid, or they send the person to the hospital.

Doctors are afraid of losing their licenses because of the government who licenses them.

Realization the vaccines are a failure, many people have a huge problem with admitting your opposition was right. I do suspect all that anger will at some point be turned upon those that deceived and tricked people into taking the jab ( the Slow Joe administration).

Some people love having a scapegoat. Racists blame that guy who doesn't look like him for his personal failures. Statists blame individualists who pursue self-interest instead of filling the public trough. Socialists' one-size-fits-all product sucks but they blame the selfish capitalist whose flexible product design maximizes customer vs producer satisfaction.

Parents are one of the most offensive groups when it comes to scapegoating. Some children are gifted, some children work hard...that's life. But it's always some other kid that's responsible for their kid's failure.

I think the scapegoating of the people who didn't get shots is a media-driven situation. Most people with whom I speak at work are more of a live-and-let-live variety. Indeed, I've noticed more people in the office lately, which is a good thing by and large, with a healthy mix of masked and unmasked people...and NOBODY IS RAVING!

Ultimately, this all comes down to managing personal risk, and the reality that some risks can't be avoided. For example, in the world of investing, there is a concept of risk-minimization whereby you lower your risk of loss or volatility by spreading your eggs across several baskets. However, one risk you cannot diversity away is the "systematic risk" or the risk inherent in the system...call it market risk or whatever, the basic reality is some baseline level of risk will ALWAYS exist, and you can't avoid it.

Laws that support, life, liberty, and property are right and proper. Some laws act as a deterrent and will stop people on the margin from doing bad things...this is akin to diversifying away the non-systematic risk.

However, at some baseline level, in a relatively free society of 330MM people, you'll always have a few pathological maniacs who will kill. Thus, random with acts of violence are the systematic risk of a free society. Sure, maybe some laws can help, but in large measure unless you weld a GoPro to the heads of 330MM people with central monitoring in DC (and even that wouldn't be perfect...after all people in jail still get drugs and weapons), psychos gonna psycho.

Let's extend this to the pandemic. There is a risk of infection. And death. It's a thing. So controls were enacted to "flatten the curve" blah blah blah. Maybe...MAYBE on the margin some of them helped. That's for a different thread.

But NOW...people want to ELIMINATE the risk of COVID19 death or infection. Of course that's stupid-talk, and in reality this bug will likely be around forever, and eternal negativity just like influenza, bad breath, and Springsteen's music.

Rather than deal with this reality, the reality of the systematic risk of a free society where people don't want to get shots, they are scapegoating the unvaxxed. Hey, it beats thinking.

The problem is compounded when pathological politicians propose legislation - aimed at the systematic risk, which by definition you can't evade/will always be there - that simply erodes the freedoms of law-abiding citizens.

Is this by design? I doubt bureaucrats are that smart, but I don't doubt the darkness of their souls, or the power of scapegoating.
