The goal is more lockdowns. Step one is for government to create a panic. Step two is to introduce masks back. Step three is to amp up the panic by admitting that masks don’t work. Step 4 is back to lockdowns and Dems never giving you back your rights.

IMPORTANCE Airborne simulation experiments showed that cotton masks, surgical masks, and N95 masks provide some protection from the transmission of infective SARS-CoV-2 droplets/aerosols; however, medical masks (surgical masks and even N95 masks) could not completely block the transmission of virus droplets/aerosols even when sealed.
CDC and WHO paid for mask effectiveness studies in SE Asia back in 2015. Multiple med facilities and techies. Folks who knew how to use a mask.
Conclusion for a respiratory virus? N95 blocked ~50%, cloth no more than 4%.
Might as well cover your face with your hands and breath thru your fingers.

Those silly paper/cloth masks have never ever been used to protect from a virus. It says so right on the box.
