A group of Democrat women political strategists gathered for a dinner in Washington, D.C., in July, to discuss Vice President Kamala Harris’ media “crisis,” according to a report.
Axios reports that former adviser to both Bill and Hillary Clinton, Kiki McLean, hosted the dinner with former DNC officials Donna Brazile and Leah Daughtry; former Barack Obama spokesperson and Joe Biden adviser Stephanie Cutter; former Hillary Clinton spokeswomen and Democratic strategists Adrienne Elrod and Karen Finney; and former Obama communications director Jennifer Palmieri, who also worked for Hillary Clinton’s second failed presidential campaign.
No one from Harris’ office was present for the dinner but “Harris confidant Minyon Moore” attended, according to the report.
The group discussed best practices for fighting back against negative perceptions of Harris, as she has suffered a series of political setbacks in the first six months of the Biden presidency.
The group also complained that coverage of Harris reminded them of the coverage of Hillary Clinton which they perceived as sexist.
Polls show Harris as the least popular vice president in modern history. Damaging leaks about her office mistreating employees previously emerged in the media, fueling concerns of infighting and sabotage.
The Atlantic reported Thursday that Harris was frustrated with how the corporate media has treated her.
“Part of my frustration is the way that this system rewards sound bites” as opposed to “depth and thought,” Harris said in an interview with the Atlantic reporter Peter Nicholas.

Maybe an Emmy. Then again, it didn’t help the NY serial killer, did it?
Has anyone seen Kamala Harris since she went to the hospital after meeting the COVID super-spreader Democrats from Texas?
When you look at the guests for this meeting you know very well this isn’t about Harris and media......it’s about setting her up for the Presidency.
Forget it, ladies. She’s beyond help. And besides, does anyone really think the likes of Hillary and Brazille would make things better?
Donna Brazile recommended that Harris give the mass media the questions to ask in advance...no more surprises...”incorrect questions?”—off to the re-education camps the reporters go...
;-)
Hi.
Did these people ask Willie Brown to attend?
If not, they can’t be serious, right?

“Turd polishing 101 ain’t gonna work.”
But they are so experienced from working with Hillary’s second campaign.
Hillary has to be so bummed. If they would have had the level of vote fraud in 2016 that they had in 2020, she would have won handily.
Well of course, but they need the media to be totally in the tank for that to happen.
Says a person who has neither good sound bites nor depth of thought.
I’ve heard a couple of sayings about Kamala Harris that apply here..
You can’t make Chicken Salad out of Chicken Shit and
You can’t make a Silk Purse out of a Sow’s Ear....
I rarely agree with Geraldo jerry rivers rivera but he said Harris is “unpleasant”....that’s one way to put it.
I had a black female supervisor for a time, she was also unpleasant...which I believe stemmed from having an acute inferiority complex, knowing that she got her position through affirmative action hiring policies, most if not all of her employees were more intelligent than she was and without a doubt could do her job better than she could.
Sounds familiar yes?
Power house gaggle unleashed to save ‘the cackler’.
Ho Ho Ho!
They can spin all they want. She’s viscerally unlikeable and I doubt they’ll be able to get underneath that. It worked, I suppose, to get her & Joe elected and I think she’ll be president—by succession, at some point. I don’t expect that will be entertaining.
Yup. They see Dementia Joe cruising under the umbrella of gushing media cover all the way until '24 and if she isn't President by then she never will be.
Wow this is really serious.
Their plan to kick Biden to the curb and put in Harris is failing.
Note too they’re all women....Hillary’s war machine against men. Her dream is having women run it all.
