Wisconsin elections officials said Wednesday that they have removed more than 205,000 voters from the rolls as part of routine work to keep the state's registration lists up to date.
Purging voters from the rolls has been a point of major contention in the perennial swing state. Conservatives filed a lawsuit in 2019 demanding that the Wisconsin Elections Commission remove voters from the rolls if they didn't respond to mailings within 30 days. The lawsuit ultimately failed and Democrat Joe Biden went on to beat Donald Trump by about 20,000 votes.
Commission officials announced Wednesday that they deactivated 174,307 voter registrations on Saturday because the voters hadn't cast a ballot in four years and didn't respond to a mailing. They said they are required by law every two years to identify registered voters who haven't voted in the previous four years and deactivate them unless they wish to remain registered.
The commission on Saturday also deactivated 31,854 registrations of voters who may have moved and didn't respond to a mailing. The commission mailed postcards during the summer of 2019 to more than 230,000 voters identified by the Electronic Registration Information Center as having possibly moved.
The commission voted that summer not to deactivate them until after the April 2021 election to give them several chances to affirm they hadn't moved. That stance prompted a lawsuit from a conservative law firm, the Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty, demanding the commission remove those voters within 30 days if they didn't respond to the mailing.

Lawsuit against this removal in 10-9-8 ...
Disenfranchisement is illegal, even after death!
How often can a state routinely purge a quarter million voters from it rolls?
Note that Motor Voter requires registering states to notify the old state when registering a driver changing states. This process pretty much doesn’t work, so you end up with people registered to vote in multiple states. I presume intrastate registrations are properly cleaned up but that may not always be the case.
Unless they’re Cubans.
Whats happening here is a very poor clerical matter where country clerks are failing in their job....year after year. You would think...issuing a death certificate (stamped) would then trigger ‘Marge’ to go and delete the name off the voting rolls. In county after county, that is hit-and-miss...some do their job, some don’t.
States probably need to delete the entire voting roll there months after each election, and allow new registration to occur six months out from an election, with proven data for your residence (utility bills, property tax forms, license, etc).
Brazen attempt to suppress the Dead Voters.

If they haven’t voted in a few years then
they didn’t vote 10 months ago. So had no
impact on 2020 election.
Taxation without representation at all levels — federal, state and local.
ENOUGH!
“...and mentally disabled Socialist Joe Biden went on to beat our TRUE President Donald Trump by about 20,000 fraudulent votes in Dane & Milwaukee Counties.”
FIXED! :)
You know, it’s a START. You’re going to see good things coming out of Wisconsin in the future. We’ve got a great ground game in place these days. Put money on it. ;)
Um, if they hadn’t voted in a few years, then the stealers (who had voter lists showing last date registered voters had voted), knew they were safe to steal those votes by mail-in ballot.
Wisconsin (Dominion machines connected to the internet) dumped votes at 4 AM — all for Biden?
A Glitch.. LOL.
What ever those that haven’t voted in the last
few years are being removed now. That’s a start.

Hell, I’d be equally, if not more, concerned with those names that actually “voted” and still didn’t respond. Voting IN THE NAME OF non-voting registered voters is an age-old method of vote-fraud.
There won’t be a lawsuit.
This is a modified limited hangout.
And who did those people vote for?
But if they did “harvest” their vote in the last election, then their name wouldn’t be on the “hasn’t voted” list now.
These are names that haven’t been used in vote fraud and removing them means they never will be.
What I always wonder is why the elections bureau and the bureau of vital statistics never compares databases? Pretty sure it would pop up the dead who are still voting.
