Florida Republican Governor Ron DeSantis’s office slammed the Biden administration Monday after White House Press Secretary Jen Psaki made false claims about DeSantis’s handling of the pandemic in Florida....

Florida is now saying 17k new infections on worldometer for Tuesday. But they have not reported any cases the previous two days. So is that 17k over 3 days, or is that just for Tuesday? Also showing 34 deaths.

Whichever side of the masking debate a person takes they must understand that masking has absolutely nothing at all to do with transmission of a respiratory virus. One can catch the communist chinese virus through any number of ways and and various situations, but whether you catch the communist chinese virus or not is unrelated to whether you wear a mask or if you keep in in a biohazard waste jar at home. Both applications of masking offer the same level of protection against the communist chinese virus.

I think there are studies that show a proper sealed shop mask which is p or n95 or 100 does prevent the virus from entering your airways. Florida only reports once a week. That’s why the press goes wild on Fridays, making it sound as if we had x number of infections on that day and the world is coming to an end and it’s all DeSantis’ fault.
I’m in a liberal northeast state with no mask mandates and nobody is wearing masks and reported deaths are close to zero.
Has to be another explanation.

If so, is there mandatory testing of students and/or staff?
If so, are the PCR tests using nasal swabs?
