And the other thing—I didn’t stress enough—was that while the Capitol Police were naturally defending the Capitol on January 6th, only a couple of hundred MDP officers where there, too.
The Majority were off shift or elsewhere.
Is the media stating these 4 officers were all defending the Capitol on Jan 6, or just their departments?

I think I can see the narrative the media is trying:
“Dirty, evil Trump insurrectionists killed fine upstanding policemen. Film at 11:00.”

Yeah both were found with a .22 round in the head and a nine millimeter in their hand.
So, is this gonna be like if you had dirt on Hilary you died? Only this time it is the old bag Pelosi? Are they the ones who mentioned that it was her that called off security?
Or, is this the natural reaction if you are not allowed to go before the Jan6 kangaroo march and cry for the cameras?

This is very strange.
Police officers and EMS people witness worse than the ‘insurrection’ routinely. How many of them do we hear of killing themselves?
Since no LE’s or elected officials were seriously injured or killed during 1/6 they will use the suicides to try to tie anything negative that happens to the LE’s for the next two years on the “insurrection”.
Now, what is the nexus of the suicides to the 1/6 “insurrection”. Most LE’s have been in worse crowd control situations, (many in D.C.), that involved much more severe injuries, racial taunting, eye irritants and bruises then anything that occurred on 1/6.
Appears they only clear the path for them self.

The fact the politics of the police officers committing suicide is a big fat hint they might have been conservatives.
