‘Congrats, GOP, you are ... useless’: @Oilfield_Rando goes through Infrastructure Bill line-by-line and it’s HILARIOUSLY infuriating

Once again we visit the timeline of Oilfield Rando for a ‘play-by-play’ of the stupidity in the Infrastructure Bill and the ridiculous things Democrats are getting away with because Republicans are basically letting them. As he points out in this thread, our GOP sadly seems more and more useless, hiding behind the excuse that they’re the minority.

It’s getting old, folks.

But what’s not getting old is Rando’s take on the bill. Hey, it still sucks but if we can laugh a little why not?

Already found $250 million for an invasive plant species removal program lol.

Yep, the GOP is useless. I anticipate that 90+ percent will be directly funneled into the coffers of Democrat dominated businesses who will then kick-back a sizeable portion to buying books and speaking fees. The other kick-backs will go to Dem activist groups in much the same way Obama took all confiscated fines and directed them to leftist groups.

That’s the GOP - completely and utterly useless. And all this is not even mentioning that this is mearly printed Monopoly money.

There is only one party.

I think it’s becoming more obvious to people, but it’s too late.

We have no courts.
We have no elections.
We have a one-party system.
We are living under a totalitarian system.

I don’t expect We The People to try and change it.

She just signs off on these things once they show her and the rest what their tributes are going to be.

All written by staffers, special interests and donors. Kind of like a radio show that takes requests. Please play this song for me, it reminds of that one time in band camp.

Only this is our money and we’re letting them steal it, waste it and make money off of it.

And yet, Graham, Thune, Rubio, Murkowski, Ernst, Cornyn, McCarthy, Upton, et al, go back, year after year after year. Because next time they’ll do better and keep their promises.

That is exactly what it’s all about.

Think about all the research done at colleges. Government grants that go to certain schools and programs. All to take care of the loyal foot soldiers, who then take care of the folks that doled out the money in the first place.

************

THAT is the reason why Democrats are always so aggressive. They have no respect for Republicans. They push them around at will and Republicans reliably roll over for them.

its one of the main reasons the country is in the mess its in today: GOP weakness and complicity.

The reality is we don't have a real political party representing us or fighting for conservative principles.

It looks like they can fool most of the people most of the time.

Oddly enough we keep voting for more big government, which is the very tool the statists use to control us. And that includes Republican voters who keep the RINOs in their jobs.

We should stop voting for anyone who does not commit to reducing the size, scope and power of government. It should become a political litmus test IMO.

I really would like to see a political party with a very small, very clear platform. Heavy emphasis on active reduction of federal government budget and responsibilities. Heavy emphasis on election reform. Heavy emphasis on banning abortion. Heavy emphasis on tax reduction.

I don’t want pablum and I don’t want every issue under the sun to get touched on. Just some major points. I want to support candidates who CLEARLY disagree with the Progressives.

And campaign funding should be pulled from politicians who SAY one thing and end up “horse trading” and voting another way.
