Ok, I’m not an attorney and I didn’t stay in a Holiday Inn last night but somehow I don’t believe this is a winning stratagy when Trump takes them to court to collect his million plus court costs and attorney fees.
Let’s be as charitable as possible when dealing with the crooked leftist ideologues of Chicago - as a state and city, they are completely bankrupt.

As if they’d be writing a $1 million check. It would most likely be applied toward future tax obligations.
We used to call this GRAND LARCENY and a US Attorney would step in CRIMINALLY PROSECUTE the Thief trying to STEAL THE MONEY
But not giving Trump the refund he is due would also take money out of the pocket of at least one Chicago taxpayer - Trump.
The money is due, the money should be paid. Who it gets paid to is irrelevant.
