Yesssss.

All that money going to trusted Dem aligned contractors who flip a small % back to the Politicians.

A smal percentage of the theft, just enough to wet their beak

Most of this will never go to where the public is told it will.

This is Deep State looting the public treasury.

What good are the charging stations if you don’t have power-producing facilities to back them up?

Yeah, let’s upgrade Warren Buffet’s Union Pacific railroad do he can transport more Canadian oil to the US now that Keystone is shut down. We all know he doesn’t have the funds to upgrade his rail lines. /s

Except in the backward city states, there are no lead pipes.

There are no lead pipes to be replaced. The money is being set up to be stolen from us taxpayers

Delusional.

Little of that money will actually be put towards the stated intent.

Potholes only exist in flyover country, like the small town I live in. The city finance manager has publicly stated that there isn't much money for current services because the cost of funding the pension system is so large.

And nothing I saw in the article about how long it will take to spend all of this money. Probably not counted in the current year budget, and won't be counted in future budgets either when the cash leaves the building. Just another load of cash going against that imaginary number previously known as the National Debt.

Where are the lead pipes? They are located in all the Democrat run big cities. So the contractors get the money, kickback to the Congressmen, and illegals install new pipe.

I think this bill started out as something like 7 trillion. As recently as this week-end, I was reading 3 trillion. This is a huge improvement and they failed to raise the debt ceiling. Democrats are seeing that the deplorables are not caving to Rino sentiments and are caving to our demands ;)

Actually i strongly believe America BADLY needs to significantly upgrade our rail network.

I agree - Although if I were in charge I would push to increase the gauge size to carry wider payloads, create hub terminals in major cities to encourage common freight and allow mixed passenger/freight trains between hub cities.

The hope would be to increase the rail size/weight capacity, reduce commercial road traffic to local delivery, provide a cheap (but less convenient) travel option for individuals.

Could run a pilot program between a handful of industrial cities (do we have any of those anymore?). See if the concept is viable and to what degree/metro size works.

Wouldn’t they already have a specific list of things to repair and projects BEFORE the vote?

The roads in the San Francisco Bay Area are crumbling and are the worst I’ve seen anywhere. The county and state pols have lots of other important things to spend our money on…like ignoring crime, like letting criminals out of prison, like catering to illegals with mountains of freebies and cash, like paying universal guaranteed minimum income, like paying for nice housing for millions of bums to attract more bums, and like endless COVID payments.
