Sarah Palin, the former vice presidential candidate and ex-governor of Alaska, has hinted at a return to politics.
Palin was asked if she would look at running for the U.S. Senate as she spoke at a conference on July 22 that was co-sponsored by the Harvest International Ministry religious movement, Right Wing Watch reported.
In a video shared on the ministry's Instagram page, Palin said sitting on stage that "America was dedicated to God" and she took a swipe at "a rapid shift to the left" she felt was taking place in the country.
Palin told Ahn, that it would be a "sacrifice" to leave her home in "God's country" but added: "If God wants me to do it, I will."
She went on to suggest that she would need more support from Christians than she got during her unsuccessful White House run.

Yea, thinking her entering this will be a distraction.
I have no personal issues with the woman she certainly would be better than Murkowski… but not sure if with all the baggage, manufactured and self inflicted if she could win.. or just be turned into a punchline and hand it to murkowski
Don’t ‘tease’. Either do it or be quiet.
Correction: “It” would have been
Sarah Palin was the Donald Trump of the day.
Insiders be it democrats or republicans did not like either as they interfered with the crooked deal making.
Her and Trump would be worth the price of admission. The mediots would be hanging themselves after the first day.
All you have to do is contrast the Media's Planetary Defense Shield around Humpher Biden with the 24/7/365 wheel-to-wheel massed Media artillery barrages against Palin and Trump.
Don't even get me started on the protection grid deployed around Pants-Poopin' Joek and The Ho.
Has Sarah written any recent blog entries or short radio commentaries on the issues facing Alaska and the US? That would help to get her views on various issues known better.
Even though he was already well known, Ronald Reagan did his radio commentaries for several years and that helped people get an idea where he stood on many, many issues. And he wrote out his commentaries by hand.
Sarah has quite a few personal challenges in her family. I believe those may be impediments to her being an effective Senator. I like the idea someone else brought up of her running for a House seat.
She is, in political terms, a loser. I am sure she is a nice woman—I have no desire to see bad things for her. But, she is the past, not the future. She will suck the air out of the room and she will take the rest of the party with her.
She will suck the air out of the room
***By being so popular? Popularity and name recognition wins elections.
+1
Oh yeah…she is real popular…with a bunch of old guys who fantasize about her. Otherwise, she is a non starter.
The political puritans have really f’d up this website since I first joined.........
***I think they’re mostly RINOs.
If she runs I will support her. Hopefully she takes out a RINO.
Palin should take out Rep. Don Young. Kelly Tshibaka is our candidate for the Senate.
She was Governor of Alaska. It would be a step down to run for Rep.
When you’re the sole at-large House member, it’s different.
Many Governors have done so over the years. Three from Arizona went from Governor to At-Large (when it had a single seat). 1 from Arkansas.
Mike Castle of Delaware left the Governorship to run for the sole seat in 1992 (switching jobs with Tom Carper).
2 from Idaho, 1 from Nevada, 1 from New Mexico (and 2 more when NM had two at-large seats), 1 from North Dakota (when it had two at-large seats), 2 from Oregon, Puerto Rico’s Carlos Antonio Romero Barceló was another, 1 from RI, 1 from VT, 1 from the Virgin Islands, 1 from WA, 1 from WI, 1 from WY.
Bill Janklow from South Dakota in 2002, the most recent to make the jump (before his mowing down a biker sent him to prison).
Others have tried for regular districts after their Governorship ended (look at Crist in FL). A former President (JQ Adams) was more comfortable and effective in the House after his single term (despite the fact he could’ve gone back to the Senate at any point during his later years).
At-Large seats are like de facto 3rd Senators in the 7 states that presently have them. I think Palin would be a better fit at present to take out Don Young and serve with the firebrand lady Conservatives whose numbers are growing in the House.
So long as at the end of the day, Lisa Murkowski’s been retired to enjoy her ill-got gains, I’ll be happy.
She is seen as a quitter, fair or not. Trump never quits.
Then why is there this bullshiite fear of “she’ll suck the air out of the room”? Either she’s popular enough to win or she ain’t popular. Which is it?
Don’t know know, not being there to form my own opinion. I can only go by what friends who I trust tell me. And yes its their opinion too, maybe they’re wrong ! Time will tell!
