Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell (R-Ky.) said on Wednesday that he did not realize it would be difficult to convince Americans to take the COVID-19 vaccine as the nation deals with soaring cases occurring in the unvaccinated.
“Here, we did — developed three highly effective vaccines in under one year. Honestly, it never occurred to me we would have difficulty getting people to take the vaccine,” McConnell told Fox Business Network host Larry Kudlow, a former White House official.
“So, clearly, we have got a job to do to try to convince reluctant Americans of all types who seem to be holding back, unconvinced that this is the right thing to do,” McConnell added.

The urgency is misplaced and government has no role or business mandating vaccination for an illness with a >99% survival rate. Everything about this smells wrong, but we’re just supposed to accept it. Right on, Mitch. Dolt.
Some of us question authority, Mitch.
Folks are finally figuring out that “ vaccines “ are making Big Pharma very wealthy, and their lobbyists are undoubtedly throwing Mitch and his pals a healthy sum to be cheerleaders for the jab.
It never occurred to me that there was a plandemic-exception clause in the US Constitution.
My dad taught me not to lie by fact checking everything I say, once I was caught lying.
We’re fact checking everything our politicians tell us, because we caught them lying.
A LOT of things don’t occur to this guy.
>>McConnell: ‘It never occurred to me’ convincing Americans to get vaccinated would be difficult<<
...sayz the out of touch Warshington swamp creature.
It should occur to McConnell to go back home and shut up.
Or listen to Dr. Rand Paul.
Mitch lives in the elitist DC bubble. He has no idea how the average person feels about anything.
Give me an FDA approved vaccine and I’ll think about it. That’s the real problem. He doesn’t understand why so many people don’t want to be beta testers.
Here’s a clue moron. You take the shots. Let other people make their own choices. Leave people alone. Repeal laws that don’t leave people alone.
The Turdle lies. Instead of calling out the Biden administration, he calls
out the Un-Jabbed.
its not just the vaccine messaging. Its that no one trusts the government. They are habitual liars and no one with any sense thinks the government has their best interests at heart when they pass laws or dictates. All you need to do is look at the approval rating of congress to see that people neither like nor trust them, so why would this ever be a surprise to anyone?
And both are my senators from the Commonwealth of kentucky. Downright ironic.
I wonder if it ever occurred to the FDA to remove the EUA from these vaccines and declare them safe to use?
No? Gee, I wonder why?
Face it Mitch. You’re just not that bright.
‘It never occurred to me’ convincing Americans to get vaccinated would be difficult...’
Well, when your plan is to make it up as you go along... it means you don’t think past your nose and you get blindsided, just like a five year old caught in a lie
Crimeny, this guy is completely tone def. Everytime he does something the DC way people kick up a fuss, and it never occurs to him?
