USCG Putting In Work!

They Never Told Me I Would Be Doing This In Boot Camp!

Boston (July 27, 2021) Sailors furl the mizzen topsail aboard USS Constitution. USS Constitution, is the world’s oldest commissioned warship afloat, and played a crucial role in the Barbary Wars and the War of 1812, actively defending sea lanes from 1797 to 1855. During normal operations, the active-duty Sailors stationed aboard USS Constitution provide free tours and offer public visitation to more than 600,000 people a year as they support the ship’s mission of promoting the Navy’s history and maritime heritage and raising awareness of the importance of a sustained naval presence. USA! USA! USA! Congratulations!!

First Lt. Amber English won gold for women’s skeet at the 2020 Summer Olympic Games. English set a new Olympic record of 56/60 and is the Army’s and U.S. Armed Forces first medalist of the Summer Games. English, an Army reservist, is a member of the World Class Athlete Program and the Marksmanship Unit. This is reservists’ first Olympic appearance and medal. (Photo by Maj. Nathaniel Garcia)
