The Joint Chiefs are currently explaining to Biden that invading Ireland would be a bad move.
Awesome!
Joseph Stolen should just declare that all money rightfully belongs to government.
You know he wants to.
Businesses don’t pay taxes, and never have. Ever. People pay taxes.
It’s vitally important that when a company reaches a certain size that it be able to avoid the taxation that smaller companies face. It ensures that competition in all sorts of markets is limited, and that the large always beat the small, thanks to clever accountants.
After Biden has his butt wiped again, I’m sure he will figure this on out.
Go Ireland!
It’s funny how they attribute things to Biden. Joe Biden’s priorities are:
A pudding cup.
A diaper change.
A nap.
Ireland is about to learn the hard way, never stand in the way of a man with a wiped butt. Hey, c’mon, man!
Smells like Obama and his Distribution of wealth crap again
Nobody, except for the US, would keep the tax rules anyway. We all know this.
The U.S. is a sovereign nation and not subject to ANY “Global Tax Rules”!!!!
RESTORE OUR FREE CONSTITUTIONAL REPUBLIC and GET RID of Biden, the Imposter in Chief!!!
The Democrats aren’t content with raising taxes in the United States. Now they want to raise taxes for the entire world.
It would be funny if it weren’t so scary.
By the way, who would benefit the most from this scheme? Well, that would be Red China. Western goods would get more expensive while Chinese companies would just pretend to follow the rules.
Why is Ireland recognized as an independent nation when it’s just a colony of the U.K.?
Yes, the mere United States is not nearly a large enough domain for Joe Biden. To constrain his great brain to such a limited policy space is a waste of his powers as a universal leader. Tax policy for the entire World is more his size, as it was for his Democrat predecessor, the great Obama.
Go Ireland!
This being said, the sole purpose of this global minimum tax is to pay for increasing socialism and socialist control over economies.
Internationalist corporationists, who imagine a world run by corporations, and see socialism solely as a means for workers to pay for their own medical care and retirement, so that corporations don’t have to, otherwise seeing socialists as mentally deficient, are also in favor of this GMT.
By the way, if you want to see life as run by corporations, the futuristic movie “Rollerball” (1975), depicted that idea in all its disgusting glory.
Oh, and don't forget Biden asking the United Nations of Third World Sh*tholes to investigate America for "racism".
Corporations do not pay taxes. Their customers pay the taxes. The consumer.
Hope that was simple enough for a woke Progressive mind.
Point of historical information! Prior to 2017 the corporate tax rate in the United States was 35%. Donald Trump and the Tax Cut Job Act changed it that year against total Democratic Party resistance.
Also of current note is Ireland's fight with the European Union (EU) over its long standing Apple HQ & that tax deal. Apple agreed to put much of its European HQ in economically distressed Ireland (post 2008 bank crisis) for a limited time lower tax.
