The Oakland Police department said the incident is under investigation, adding there is a $2,000 reward for information leading to an arrest. Boxer, 80, served as a U.S. senator for California from 1993 through 2017.

Earlier today former Senator Barbara Boxer was assaulted in the Jack London Square neighborhood of Oakland. The assailant pushed her in the back, stole her cell phone and jumped in a waiting car. She is thankful that she was not seriously injured."

Like many others here, I don't advocate violence against, or wish physical harm to anyone unless it is a legally deserved hangman's noose, firing squad, or jail sentence.

However, what I do advocate (and advocate with a burning hot conviction) is politicians of all stripes, but most especially the Leftists and RINOs having to live with the consequences of their actions and legislations.

They too often don't.

• When they erode or destroy health care, they don't feel it because they have their own plan immune to those policies.
  
  
• When they pass gun control legislation or decry the use of firearms, they are never affected, because they can always obtain firearms and ammunition, and have their persons and property safeguarded at all time by men with firearms, and have traditional police at their beck and call, even when other people are denied even the right to self defense.
  
  
• When they pass legislation such as rent control or Section 8 Housing, it is never their neighborhood affected. They never have problems finding housing because they have piles of corruptly acquired money to pay for ultra-expensive and scarce housing, and their neighborhood doesn't have to deal with the upticks in crime and drug use because they live in privileged, gated communities guarded by men with firearms.
  
  
• When they destroy the energy sector, they don't have to suffer the temperature extremes or curtail their driving or flying because they have their own supplies of gasoline and energy we cannot access.
  
  
• When they destroy the financial institutions by passing Leftist policies such as the Community Reinvestment Act of 1977 which sowed the seeds of financial ruin for millions of Americans by forcing lenders to give money to people who would never pay it back, and back that up by characterizing efforts to remedy that as "racist", they never have to live with the ramifications of their racist, Leftist financial policies, because they have built up their nest eggs with influence peddling if not outright corruption and cooperation with entities like the CCP.
  
  
• When they destroy the Military with their Leftist idiocy, it will never be them breaking down a door in some foreign country and being the first one in, having to depend on ill trained, ill equipped troops to follow them into the breach, who are ill trained because military spending on training, and equipment is less important than service wide stand downs to get training on homosexuality acceptance and sexual harassment training.
  
  
• When they pass legislation to restrict travel, isolate people in their homes, take away their livelihoods and destroy their businesses, and cause their children to receive or lose educational and social opportunities, they are immune from it, because they can go anywhere they want, have restaurants and hair salons opened to them, fly without masks, and have their kids privately tutored or sent to private schools immune from masking mandates. Their jobs are always secure, and they can call in on a phone while having their nails or hair done.
  
  
• When they pass legislation, militantly advocate for defunding police forces, by racially and politically removing the ability of police to defend themselves and the people in the community by focused demagogic prosecutions with kangaroo courts to criminalize police doing their jobs, and by flooding the system with Leftist judges and Attorneys General who refuse to prosecute crimes, they have their privileged protections denied to regular citizens.

And so it is with Barbara Boxer. She has done all these things, and more. As the great Thomas Sowell and others have repeatedly pointed out, she and people like her (mostly on the Left and with the tacit approval or apathy from RINOs who are involved or on the take too) NEVER have to live with the consequences of the tyrannical, horrible, corrosive, destructive, and poverty-inducing policies they advocate and pass into law.

They should. They damn well should. And if, they have to experience the ramifications of their disgusting Leftist dogma that the rest of us have to experience, so be it.
