Four men are behind bars, accused of a drive-by shooting that left a 13-year-old girl dead in Monroe, authorities said.
Officers responded to the shooting scene along Icemorlee Street around 8 p.m. on Saturday. The teen victim, Loyalti Allah, was hit when someone in an SUV opened fire, according to police.
She was taken to the hospital, where she died.
“My baby was at the wrong place at the wrong time, but she was having fun, and she’s gone,” Loyalti’s mother, Yvette Allen, said. “Can’t never get that back.”
Authorities believe the girl was sitting with friends on a picnic table when a black Ford SUV drove by, and someone inside started shooting. The SUV sped away after the shooting, police said. *** On Sunday, police arrested Javon Robinson, 20, Darius Roland, 19, Jamarius Crowder, 22, and Jamarius McLain and charged them with first-degree murder. They are all being held at the Union County Jail without bond.
Police Chief Brian Gilliard said the four suspects didn’t have criminal records.
“The only motive we’ve been able to determine, in all of this, is a disagreement with somebody else who is living in the apartment complex,” Gilliard said.

At least this case is being solved. What is the rate of conviction for these insane killings?
Since we don't have an honest, reputable news media, I find it truly difficult to get follow-up facts on stories. I usually save the perpetrator names and try searching a few days or weeks later. Sometimes to no avail.
Two upsetting lines in many stories all year:
1) No arrests were made. (or No one will face jail time for the nights of looting and burning, authorities report.)
2) Police are reaching out to the public asking if someone in the area who watched the brutal assault will step forward to give information. And that the community will tell the police where the suspects are hiding out, as they believe they are in the area now.

Javon, Darius, Jamarius... I have a conservative black friend who years ago, when he saw a similar story to this, said, “Stop having kids out of wedlock and giving your kids ghetto names, and maybe these things wouldn’t happen!” He moved away, and I sure do miss him.
Is the plural of Jamarius Jamarii?
I have no sympathy for these punks and would have less if they were white.
Now, millions of taxpayer dollars will be spent prosecuting them and imprisoning them for decades to come.
Unless our society can find the spine to execute scum like this then our society is partly to blame for this little girls death.

Yep I was just going to post about how messed up the names these people choose for their kids. Definitely setting them up for success.
I know this is bad but I don’t even have any sympathy for the victim here. Odds are, she would have produced a couple of thugs herself in three or four more years. Sorry, but I have just become numb to these losers killing each other. And then you read her Momma was goin’ to move ‘em out of the hood, but you know hair weave and Doritos came first.
