A class of fourth graders in Minnesota were told not to repeat the questions of their 'equity survey' to their parents
Hayley Yasgar, a fourth-grader was 'very nervous and uncomfortable' when she was told not to tell her parents about the survey
Many students reportedly did not understand some of the questions even after they were explained by the teacher
The survey was conducted at Riverview Intermediate School in the Sartell-St. Stephen School District in Minnesota by the Equity Alliance of Minnesota
Teachers were informed by the Equity Alliance of Minnesota to instruct students not to share the questions with their parents
A young boy in Hayley's class asked the teacher if his mom could explain the question to him.
The teacher denied the student's request telling him that he could not ask his mother and that the class was not to repeat the questions to their parents.
Hayley spoke to the school board to let them know 'how uncomfortable and nervous' this made her as she explained that her 'mom always tells [her] she can tell her anything but also tells her she can trust [her] teachers too.'
She said that 'being told to hide this from [her] mom made [her] feel very uncomfortable like [she] was doing something wrong.'
Teacher unions are evil.
Heads should roll over this.
Figuratively, of course.
We need to see what the questions were.
We told our lovely daughter when she was growing up if any adult told her to keep a secret to tell us immediately if not sooner, but what did we know?🤬🤬🤬 Where are children’s services when they’re really needed? Nevermind they support this woke 🐂💩
You forgot the link. But that’s OK. It’s right here.

Teachers are evil, well most are.
Teachers must join them. An organization is inantimate. I think that puts the onus on the teacher. It is the teacher that is evel.
I would appreciate a link to a copy of the actual survey. Many of these surveys are absolute nonsense and will provide little if any useful information. They are largely selling gimmicks of those wishing to sell add on services.
For example, one such survey from Fairfax Virginia Public Schools asks staff to agree or disagree with the statement “I have what I need to carry our an anti-racist and anti-biased education.” Guess who just happens to have a pre-packaged, one size fits all curriculum and resource package which they will be glad to customize for each School District.
The arrogance of these controlling people who operate these public schools are almost beyond belief. Real disgusting stuff.
Mod, please add link
Thanks
Repeating something I wrote earlier: CCTVs in all classrooms. Parents can log in to watch at any time, using a secure password.
You can watch your pets via CCTV in boarding kennels. Aren’t kids more important?
Teachers no longer can be required to join unions, nor can they even be forced to pay any fee to the union. That has been the caae since the Supreme Court’s Janus decision in 2018. Yet another example of why the Supreme Court is so important.
Thanks. This story was worthless without a source. Anyone could have just made it up.
So the kid goes home and tells parents they can’t show them something they got from school because the teacher said not to show them.
This was a survey given to 4th graders. They can not buy anything themselves and should not be encouraged to keep secrets from parents. The contents of the survey are irrelevant to the wrong of destroying the parent child relationship.

And of course the teachers unions would fight against it tooth and nail.

When they tell students to hide things from parents these people are breaking the sacred parent-child trust. There is no excuse for breaking this bond. This is despicable and all involved should be fired.
Same MO as pedos. Great conditioning.
A class of fourth graders in Minnesota were told not to repeat the questions of their ‘equity survey’ to their parents...
I’d be pulling my kid out of any school that told my kid not to tell me what the teachers are doing! Pronto!
