Pride and the Fall of Anthony Fauci
American Thinker.com ^ | July 27, 2021 | Clarice Feldman

The ancient Greeks, whose admonitions seem evergreen, warned us that excess pride and ambition would lead those guilty of it to ruin. I think that it true of Anthony Fauci.

First, a confession. I thought little of his handling years ago of the AIDS disease and even less of him as he flip-flopped through so many adoring media interviews on COVID-19. (So many, indeed, that one wonders if he ever had time to read the research on COVID-19, its spread and treatments). Moreover, twice now my family members have made plans to travel far to spend some time with my 102-year-old mother -- now rapidly failing in an intensive care facility -- only to have those plans dashed.

The first cancellation was caused by a COVID-19 quarantine in Hawaii where they live. This week it’s because my mother had come into contact with someone who may have contracted COVID. Naturally, I’m really angry at anyone who helped create and disseminate the virus and cover up its origins.

Of course, my personal anguish at the ravages of COVID are minor compared to those who lost loved ones (often without a possibility of providing comfort in their final hours), had to shutter their businesses, lost income, suffered painful illness and more. And then there’s the loss of treasury.

The government’s COVID relief programs have cost $5.2 trillion, more than World War II, which cost $4.7 trillion. Those mountains of money will cause inflation, raise interest rates and reduce in stock prices.

On a human level, the death toll from COVID has surpassed that of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Naturally, we want to know the origins of the disease and assess some measure of culpability for this worldwide disaster,

And now it comes out that the CDC is quietly admitting that there’s no way of distinguishing between the flu and covid in the PCR tests that were used to create the hysteria.

The mysterious disappearance of the flu last year was just the result of the fact that any trace of any virus was labeled Covid. And even if it had been correctly identified as the flu, it was far from the worst flu year we have ever had in terms of deaths.

But deaths from the lockdowns…all unnecessary … probably made up for that.

The CDC - this useless, secretive bureaucracy run by an elderly megalomaniac - should be dissolved and Fauci jailed.

>>>These experiments were written into grant applications, including for U.S. funds<<<

Boy Howdy, that sure sounds a lot like Khrushchev’s, “ The US will sell us the rope,we use to hang them with” statement. (Paraphrase) Or maybe, "The United States will eventually fly the Communist red flag…The American people will hoist it themselves."

In other words....all the case numbers are phony...

And how many of those that died were really flu cases with the same symptoms.....like folks that died from pneumonia

The “fall” he deserves is from the gallows.

Same as Dr. Karl Brandt after his Nuremberg trial.

First of all, that little bastard fauci has not and will not fall far enough, by a long shot.

Second of all... On a human level, the death toll from COVID has surpassed that of World War II and the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Uh, no. The “COVID deaths” are almost entirely among people who were well past average life expectancy, and had numerous serious illnesses/comorbidities. The men who died in WWII and Korea were young and healthy. That’s a ridiculous comparison.

“Guys like Fauci get up there and start talking, and he doesn’t know anything really about anything, and I’d say that to his face. Nothing.”

“The man thinks you can take a blood sample and stick it in an electron microscope and if it’s got a virus in there, you will know it. He doesn’t understand electron microscopy and he doesn’t understand medicine. He should not be in a position like he’s in.” -

The CDC - this useless, secretive bureaucracy run by an elderly megalomaniac

Fauci doesn’t run CDC. He runs NIAID a department within NIH which is a department of HHS. CDC is under HHS. That said, I don’t disagree with your observation about Fauci. I think eventually history will catch up with him.

Thank you, you’re right. I suppose you could say that he has used the CDC as both cover and weapon for his activities and has extended his control way beyond his department. I was glad to see at least one recent ruling (on the CDC’s power to shut down or restrict Florida’s cruise industry) came out against the CDC, saying that it had exceeded its powers.

Theoretically, the CDC was only to make recommendations, not to issue enforceable edicts…but Fauci has essentially used if for that. He used the power the adoring left wing media gave him to assume both the Presidency and the directorship of the CDC.

I was glad to read this ruling, which was written by Justice Thomas, and hope that it’s just the start in rolling back this bizarre “medical” dictatorship. Of course, it’s going to be challenged by the CDC, but I’m hoping the tide is turning with all the information that is coming out about his actions over the years, particularly involving China, and that even the media won’t be able to protect him anymore.

I’ve checked the numbers of American combat deaths in WW2, Korea and Vietnam and they vary widely.

I’ve heard combat deaths in WW2 as high as 435,000 and another figure at 407,000.

I’ve seen numbers of combat deaths in Korea stated as high as 53,000 and another at 40,000.

And for Vietnam I’ve seen a figure as high as 58,000 and another at 47,000.

I tend to go with the higher numbers.

In any event though you’re right, it is a ridiculous comparison.

Fauci isn’t stupid. His current modus operandi is to have people follow CDC guidelines. So if something goes off the rails, he can’t be blamed.

Therefor, IMO, this flu virus has to be promoted as being equally as deadly as the ‘spanish flu’ - because if it is in fact, nothing but a nasty seasonal influenza, with a survival rate of 98.2% and its victims are mostly the elderly and those with co-morbidity, then his entire standpoint is a train-wreck and he’s guilty of crimes against humanity.”

Good analysis. He is indeed guilty of that, imho. I hope he pays someday, along with everybody who enabled and protected him.
