Washington D.C. police chief Robert Contee slammed rising crime in the city Friday, insisting 'You cannot coddle violent criminals', and the White House's new strategy to tackle violent crime.
A shooting Thursday night at the popular D.C. 14th Street dining area that left two injured and sent diners fleeing for their lives, sparked Contee's visit to the busy corridor to talk to business owners.
'People are really mad as hell right now, and I don't blame them, because I am too. That's the reality,' he said.

I don’t worship pigs, but they do take orders from political types. In the first case, if they’re told to stand-down, which I’m sure was the case with Trump supporters getting smashed, then they’ll stand-down, if they want to feed their families. For the second case, it’s obviously prosecutors and judges, either DC or Federal - either way, it’s SICKENING the way they’re being treated - but why hasn’t there been any protests by our side?
Now, one area that I will agree with is the FBI and other federal agencies. A little tidbit - they do their recruiting at Ivy League Universities...so no, Mr. Hantity, you won’t find 99% of those people being loyal, patriotic, Americans. You’ll find an agency rotten to the core, totally infested and needing disbanding and rebuilding, using non-inner-city cops as their base...or maybe rolling the dice and not even having an FBI.
