...Recent studies show vaccines for mumps, pertussis, meningococcal disease, and yellow fever also lose their effectiveness faster than official immunization recommendations suggest. Vaccines have been a crucial public health tool for decades, so it may seem strange that their durability isn't well understood. Researchers are ramping up efforts to figure out why some vaccines protect for mere weeks but others work for life. "We simply don't know what the rules are to inducing long-lasting immunity," says Plotkin, who began to research vaccines in 1957. "For years, we were making vaccines without a really deep knowledge of immunology. Everything of course depends on immunologic memory, and we have not systematically measured it."

In a 2018 review of 11 recent studies on the durability of influenza vaccines, researchers concluded that effectiveness can vanish as soon as 90 days after vaccination. The article, published in Clinical Infectious Diseases, further noted that 20% of Americans received their flu vaccines for a given season by the end of September—which means the vaccine may do nothing come peak flu spread in January and February. "The further away you get from your vaccine, the higher the risk that you'll contract influenza," says study co-author Kunal Rambhia... "This has huge implications."

The often quoted Vaccine Effectiveness (VE) figure of about 95% for Moderna reflects that eleven people came down with COVID19 from fourteen days after their second Moderna shot through the observation period (a median of nine weeks) vs 185 in the placebo group out of about 14,000 people in both groups. That's it...a median of nine weeks...no longer observation was provided (in part why it was granted EUA - it wasn't tracked over 2-3 years). Also, the quoted VE is likely elevated because almost all of the recipients of the messenger RNA felt terrible after the second shot and likely stayed home/weren't exposed to society as much as the placebo group.
It should not be surprising that these COVID19 shots have VE decay over time. It happens frequently as highlighted in this article, and with influenza vaccines as this graphic from a separate article shows.

I'm not saying 95% is bad. But cheering that VE was about 95% a median of nine weeks after the last shot is like cheering that Ozzy Osbourne was sober three hours after leaving rehab.
This is a major reason why so many people reject these shots - a lack of transparency, non fully-informed disclosure, and continued mayhem with reported case, hospitalization, and fatality statistics.
I have taken the seasonal flu vaccine for decades...ALWAYS in the latter half of October.

Always get mine the week before Thanksgiving.
So they will take me from 99.7% from being injured by covid to 99.985 from being injured.
They will go from 3,000/1 000,000 at risk to 150/1,000,000 being injured.
If the white coat is correct—that the Pfizer depresses the immune system—who the he# would want to take a “booster” that will do more of the same?
It the same with the COVID19 shots. People will look at that Moderna report (it's a dense read...Danielle Steele it isn't) and say "sign me up - 95% VE" and others will say "after only a few weeks of observation on a unreleased messenger RNA platform? NFW."
What should offend EVERYONE is conflating "science" with political science.
I guess I don’t see the relevance. The prior vaccines discussed in this article were not gene modification therapy. The new jabs are, so who knows what will happen?
Saving 95% of potential lives, from taking the vaccines, increases the number from 99.7% to 99.985%.
Forcing vaccination upon the population will save about 49,500 lives, who might not otherwise live.
The squishy-soft “sciences” are the ones in vogue these days.
Are you suggesting we should have done 3 years of studies on the vaccines before rolling them out? Three full years of lockdowns, masks, and deaths?
Decline seems a very manageable problem. Sure the vaccine may fade in time, but can’t we solve that by adding a Covid booster to our annual flu shot?

Flu can be pretty well prevented by not eating sweets, baked grains like bread, fruit, and taking 5000 iu vitamin D3 daily all fall til summer. Hit up the vitamin C and zinc and sleep more the second your throat feels sore or other early flu symptoms. I get exposed to flus and do that, and wake up fine.
I didn’t take the into account. It’s probably a wash on that point, with equal people dying from the vaccine and those who would have been saved by the vaccine.
We could have done what an advanced country like Sweden did; we would have had this thing behind us already. (Allow the healthy to conduct their lives as normal and keep the at-risk parties sheltered.)
Nobody in Sweden seems to be cowering from Covid the way far too many Americans are.

Unfortunately, a lot of the people dying from the vaccine are young and healthy; they would have almost certainly tackled the illness without even flinching. Many of those dying from Covid, on the other hand, usually have one foot in the grave with co-morbidities.
While I'm not in the business of putting human lives on a scale, the old medical adage of, "First, do no harm" would seem to encourage us to put the brakes on pushing an experimental shot on those in excellent shape to fight the illness.
Some are calling for two flu shots, one in September and another in January.

SUGGESTED DOSAGE
All components as suggested are individually obtained and freely available and if used with some common sense are not harmful and if anything beneficial to your health. However it is a good idea and highly recommended to read up on each component, as there is plenty of information available on the internet. Here is a suggested approximate dosage for each.
Vitamin D 1500 IU
Malatonine 3mg to 6mg suggested about one hour before you go to sleep.
QUERCETIN 500 mg to 1000 mg
NAC 500 mg to 1000 mg
Zinc 50 mg
Vitamin C 1500 mg or MORE !! but always should be to two three times as much as NAC
Vitamin B complex
So far whoever has been taking this regime of supplements and may have had a brush with this virus, shook it off fairly easily and quickly and the most important thing was that in the process such a person also acquired natural immunity. Not only that but at the same time this regime also helps to ease the effects of the regular flu.

Good post.
I have been on that same vitamin regimen since April 2020 along with approx 25 friends/family members. All of us socially active...restaurants, church, weddings, travel, etc. In other words, we’ve not changed our lives the past year. Not a one of us has tested positive and not a one has even had a cold. I’ve added hydroxychloroquine 200mg each Sunday starting about 6 mos ago.

Excellent regimen. Pretty much what I’ve been doing. I have been taking 5000 iu of Vit D3 per day for years and have never been sick (thank you Lord). With the China Virus, I upped it to 10,000 iu. I think zinc and quercetin are the most important.

Been on similar regimens since August of 2020. Attended parties public events even a professional football game. Oh, and I fall in the high-risk category.
Also posted recently about hearing friends and associates who’ve taken the jab complain about the after effects.
Also note that my position would not recommend that I take this experimental vaccine.
I know. The vaccines are even backed by eugenicists, too. Let me know when you figure it out.
