GETTYSBURG, Pa. — A long-time Gettysburg restaurant owner has temporarily closed his business because of COVID-19.
Gettysburg Eddie's, a popular eating establishment on Steinwehr Avenue, is shut down until further notice after six employees tested positive for the coronavirus.

The next time you’re in Gettysburg, you should try a ghost walk tour, or better yet, a ghost hunt.
Go to ghostwalkusa.com and enter the promo code GHOST5211 for 10% off.

Goung there first weekend in August. Hope Eddie’s is back open by then!
I’d try the ghost walk and touring stuff.
Not that I want to find any or that I believe in them but that Haunted History show intrigued me some. I know it was just people’s accounts on a program.
Ping.
“tested positive” is meaningless by itself. Why do we continue to insist upon testing healthy people showing no symptoms and if “positive” shut down businesses?
The tests have been proven wrong 94% of the time, and they shut the restaurant down.
Stupid
We stopped there for lunch and a beverage before our Gettysburg Tour on a 1935 Bus. It was the best (both the lunch, beverage and the tour..)
PCR is not testing for disease, it’s testing for a specific RNA pattern and this is the key pivot.
When you crank it up to 25, 70% of the positive results are not really “positives” in any clinical sense, since it cannot make you or anyone else sick.
I have a psychic sense and I was in overload mode the entire time I was there. The most intense was standing by the Wheatfield. My Wife had a visit in our Inn (the Baladerry) while I was wide awake. I have never heard her make that sound ever or since. What she felt/saw remains between us. Go.
Nooooooooooooooo....
We are all going to DIEEEEEEEEEEE....
Effing ridiculous!!!!!

Pennsylvania Ping!
Please ping me with articles of interest.
FReepmail me to be added to the list.
Get “tested” only if you want two weeks off.
It's a fantastic experience.
“Ghost tour” malarkey. I can go on a “ghost tour” by walking out my back door, between Seminary Ridge and McPherson Ridge south of Fairfield road (the old Hagerstown road). We live on the site of the Confederate camps about 250 yards west of Seminary Ridge. I have seen our neighbor’s black cat several times - pretty spooky.
Eddie Plank was a (fellow) Gettysburg College graduate. Plank Gymnasium on campus is named in his honor.
Blow it out your rear end, you crackpot 🤣
On a related note, I was looking at property in the area and saw that the Cashtown Inn was for sale (although it's currently pending:

I'm not sure if its rumored hauntings add to or subtract from the property value, but it's not mentioned in the listings.
Thanks for the heads up! Seems like just what the Lovely Mrs. ETS and I would enjoy! FWIW- The Brickhouse Inn is hard to surpass for a B&B! Didn't try them all, but on a strictly B&B experience, tip top!
Truly a great experience! The tour delivered so much more than I expected! This experience is just the right mix of history and the paranormal. Our guide, Mark, is professional, witty and extremely knowledgeable- you definitely learn something new on this tour! It was my first experience with hunting spirits and I was not disappointed! This experience is a must for anyone looking for a tour company that is not a duplicate of all the rest! Bravo!
If you do the tour, tell Mark that Jeff sent you.
