A common tactic of the left is to highlight the worst extremists and compare them to regular conservatives. Murderers, rapists, violent racists – no one is too heinous to dredge up the comparisons. The left is getting sneakier about it too. The MSM stopped using the word terrorist recently, now referring to them as "extremists," for two reasons. The first is to make terrorists look less evil, since they want to make the right's opposition to terrorism look like racism, and the second reason is to lump the right in more easily with terrorists by also referring to people on the right as extremists. It's a pretty ambitious plan, labeling people who denounce someone else with the same moniker, but so far no one seems to notice or call them out.
It's a clever tactic to lump regular conservatives in with the worst people in society, because studies show this kind of association works to convince some people. But it's a lie. Evil people happen to share views with standard ideologies because they are mentally ill, not because they passionately believe in principles like freedom. In most of the mass shooting incidents in the U.S., the shooter had almost no significant political ideology. A handful leaned to the left and almost none to the right. If the left wants to continue digging down this hole, people who bother to read past their biased articles are going to discover the limited correlation points to their side.

The sad thing is, it’s working.
The perfect example of projection. Who is more radically extreme than today's left?
I know a lot of folks who voted for Trump who never attended a Trump rally, and are basically boring non-radical Republicans. They supported Trump not because they were huge fans of his, but because where the left is heading truly frightens them, and Trump was willing to stand up to that.
So when the left labels all of these rather ordinary people as extremists, all they succeed in doing is pushing them further away. And a lot of independents are feeling the same, because if you give them a choice between radical leftist racism, and guys pretending to be women on the one hand, and Trump on the other, they're going to choose Trump even if they aren't really fans.
The left itself has created and strengthened a great deal of Trump's support. And they are utterly oblivious to that reality.
It is pathetic but it has real world concequeces. Patriots who wanted to do something about a stolen election are now Political Prisoners rotting in the DC Gulag.
The left argues every day on the fallacy that some equals all. If a few conservatives are on the mental margins, then all conservatives are on the mental margins.
It’s a lie, of course, but what’s a lie to a liar?
Horn swagglers, cattle rustlers, candy thieves.......
....And Methodists!
When nothing remains of the old extreme Left that is extreme to the Left anymore we should just expect even yerserday’s moderates to look like the fa4 right to them.
It happens, regularly, here on FR too.
The thing is that not everyone on FR thinks the same way about everything. There are differences of opinion, and if that's the case on the most prominent conservative forum on the web, than you can be sure that's the case in society as a whole. Which makes it that much more idiotic for leftists to try to paint everyone who supported Trump with the same broad brush.
Anyone who is out of step with Marxism is an “extremist”.
The media never has identified “far Left radicalism”. There is no position too far beyond the pale in their utopia.
The Left has called every Republican president since the 1950s a “fascist”.
The Left’s ties to international Communism are quite exposed.
It is mere cover and nothing else. Even they don’t believe it.
An example is Minnesota logic. An example, for when I was living in that awful place:
George W Bush is a retard.
George W Bush is from Texas.
Therefore, all Texans are retards.
It’s dealing with chronological adults with the reasoning abilities of a small child.
But no Irish! Definitely no Irish!
—”Anyone who is out of step with Marxism is an “extremist”.
“Extremism in defense of liberty is no vice. Moderation in pursuit of justice is no virtue.”
