Jerome Adams, former Surgeon General under former President Donald Trump, said the U.S. should prepare for “more mitigation” strategies “including masks” to counteract the slow pace of vaccinations.
Adams warned of the delta variant on Sunday, and said it is crucial to “be honest” with people about its spread and the “consequences of stagnation in vaccinations.”
“Health officials do all they can to protect us and preserve hospital capacity, but if we can’t get more vaccinated, their next best tool is masking,” he said, adding that people need to begin to prepare for further mitigation strategies, which includes masking up yet again:

I prefer masks to forced vaccines.
If anyone needs another reason to dislike Mike Pence, look at Jerome Adams. Pence brought him from Indiana.
“15 days to flatten the curve...”
So, how many of the maskanitas/maskaneros will return to the muzzle? We only ever used clip on plastic shields on our glasses for the duration except for medical facilities.
Prepare for no.
Wellllllll then the “vaccine” is a failure and not a vaccine anyway. At this point all of this has nothing to do with health and safety.
But vaccinated people are getting delta...LOTS of people! In Israel the Pfizer vaccine is failing miserably vs. delta.
Didn’t wear the bacteria-laden face diapers before and not going to start now.
So, I work in facility planning in the healthcare biz. The director of our group is a physician. Pretty much everybody is working remotely as I do and go on site to construction projects when the need dictates.
We recently had a all-hands webex meeting to be briefed on up-coming projects, the policies regarding Covid and any expectations of returning to the office and considerations for possible mandatory vaccinations. It was suggested that the company is waiting for full approval before they impose mandatory vaccination requirements. He mentioned possibly 3 months from now.
What I found interesting was when the director was discussing alternatives to mandatory vaccinations, he mentioned that he has a kid who works at Facebook and though FB does not have mandatory vaccinations, those who do not wish to be vaccinated must have a bright sticker on their badges indicating that they are not vaccinated. Yes, Mark Zuckerburg apparently is not a student of history. The director put this out there as one possible way companies are resolving the issue without mandatory vaccines proving that he is not a student of history as well. Apparently, at FB, those with stickers on their badges are not allowed in the cafeteria where they offer free meals to the employees so the hope is to get more young employees lured in to the boxcars with food I guess...

I’ve been vaccinated. It is far more preferable than wearing a mask everywhere. How do you feel about social distancing and lockdowns?
No.
Why did this guy strike me as a pole smoker on the down low pegging my gaydar at 100%?
I refuse to be injected with drugs that can’t protect me from contracting a virus with a 99.98% survivability rate.
On the bright side, highly Covid vulnerable ‘people of color’ in the Third World have far greater access to life-protective Covid vaccination.
BINGO.
It was always strictly and solely about control. Even more than revenue, control was the name of the game.
“99.98% survivability rate”
Many Covid infection survivors have gotten quite sick and a substantial percentage still suffer from long-term Covid infection consequences.
