There are three COVID-19 vaccines available in the U.S. that have all received emergency use authorization from the Food and Drug Administration. More than 279 million vaccine doses had been administered in the U.S. and 60.5% of adults had received at least one shot as of May 21.
That was almost exactly the same vaccination rate as that of the public at large. My question, why is the public continually misled that the people not getting the vaccine are just Trump-supporters?
Why hadn't 40% of federal health workers received the shot by May 21, since I am sure it had been available to them for about six months?
Neither public health officials nor the press is asking those questions. But if I had to guess, it would come down to trust.
Why should the public trust public health officials and social media outlets to be the deciders of what is true and not true about the virus since they intentionally blocked anyone who blamed the origin of the disease on the Wuhan Lab and essentially called it a false conspiracy theory?
The blocking of that information for one year was extremely damaging to any investigation.
Why should we trust social media outlets on anything since they allow Joe Biden and others to continually lie by claiming that voter integrity laws are like Jim Crow laws?
Those lies are meant to gin up racial hate and division, so why aren't the liars and the posts blocked?

The White House is really laying the propaganda on thick. If you don’t submit you’re ‘killing people’. Everything is an ‘emergency’ to get you to comply. Now we’ve got a newer more deadly variant coming that they will use as another boot to grind our faces with.
Trump’s been pushing it since Summer of last year. He’s still pushing it. I seriously doubt people who haven’t gotten it yet are hesitating because of him. And me personally, I’m not hesitating at all. I’m just flat out not getting it. That hasn’t changed and it won’t.
Delta variant is more communicable, but less deadly.
If 60% have already achieved herd immunity and 70% are vaccinated, WHY do they continue to push these injections?
It’s crazy.
What we want is herd immunity. Now we have a variant which is more communicable, but less deadly. That’s a good thing. The government is trying to make us panic because something good happened.

you do realize the survival rate for covid is 99.8%, right? what are the long term side effects to the vaccine, that isn’t really a vaccine? Also, what about my body, my choice?

Only other thing I see is leftist MSM claiming it’s more dangerous with their reasoning is that since it’s more contagious, it will more readily make it’s way to vulnerable people.
Of course if it is less deadly, then it’s a matter of how much less deadly compared with how much more contagious.
60% less deadly and 20% more contagious is fine.
20% less deadly and 60% more contagious could be a problem.
Then again, if we’re starting with the original 99.7% survivability, then what’s the survivability with it being 20%(or whatever) less deadly? 99.9997% ??
