Shocking new surveillance video shows the moment accused Parkland school shooter Nikolas Cruz attacks an officer at the Broward County Jail in 2018 — some nine months after the deadly shooting spree that left 17 dead.
Cruz, who is charged with first-degree murder in the Feb. 14, 2018, shooting at Marjory Stoneman Douglas High School, is seen walking in circles in the jail cafeteria, according to footage posted on YouTube by Law & Crime.
After several minutes, Cruz is seen speaking to the guard, identified as Sgt. Raymond Beltran, who is sitting in the corner of the cafeteria.
The Nov. 13, 2018, video has no audio, but the accused killer is seen giving the officer the finger before lunging at him and wrestling him to the floor while swinging at him.

They should assign David Hogg to guard him.
He was another known wolf. Massively stupid Leftist policy killed the Parkland kids. The same policies are still in effect in many places.

Great book on the subject co-written by the father of one of the dead. Must-read if you want to understand what really went down at Parkland.
An Africanized county government killed the Parkland students
Since this guy is obviously on a suicide mission they should help him to achieve that goal.
The trail might start in. September....the lawyers and expert witnesses will make a fortune
The same policies were pushed out nationwide by the Obama Administration.
SPJNK.
THE cops should give him an opportunity to be shot while escaping.
Or beaten to death in self defense.
Looks like he’s left handed. He led with his left.
What happen to a fast and speedy trial so this vermin can take his place on Death Row??
So, how do propose to deal a ‘known wolf’ before he commits an actual crime? Do you have some sort of Pre-Crime system in mind?
Just remember, there are plenty of Democrats who would such a thing to dispose of their ideological enemies.
How about when someone is declared mentally ill the county actually enters that person’s name into the ATF database. How about when death threats are made against someone the police actually follow up on it. How about when the FBI is contacted about someone threatening to kill people they follow up?
A guilty pleasure of mine is watching raw footage of police interrogations. A surprising number of them are on the YouTube.
The whole time, this guy is chained to the floor in a hospital nightgown and he's clearly putting on a "crazy" act, probably to avoid the death penalty. It's all an act though. The death penalty would definitely be appropriate here.
Your post is somewhat confusing. I didn’t see where the Freeper was advocating a “PreCrime system” rather he posted a link to a book and said leftist policies killed the Parkland students.
One of the policies that is horrendously misused and contributed to the killer being able to do his evil deed was restorative juvenile justice. That demented policy doesn’t try to predict crime, it perpetuates crime by exonerating criminals with “another chance” by ignoring the criminals actions. There’s no repercussions for certain young criminals other than mandated group hugs and the singing of Kumbaya twice a day.
Skinny runt actually looks like David Hogg.
Bad seed.
Precisely so, Bob. Someone who had read the book would know that the Parkland shooter had many actionable incidents prior to the shootings that were ignored because he was classified as Hispanic, and we can’t have equal discipline for all under Leftist policy. The book lays this out in great, heavily footnoted, detail.
But why would we expect people to actually understand the issues, read a book before posting? Heck, people post without reading the article.
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
Your point isn’t without merit. But, in this particular case, there was AMPLE justification for this young man to be both criminally prosecuted for an assault that happened on school property as well as continued menacing of other students by the (eventual) shooter that also took place on school property.
And yet, the school never pressed charges nor - and I think this is the most unconscionable part - never obtained a restraining order after these incidents. Why? Because of a policy that had been pushed by the Obama Administration to seek ‘alternative solutions’ to problem students who commit crimes on campus.
Had he either been prosecuted for his crimes, or a civil restraining order obtained, he wouldn’t have been able to walk into his local gun store and buy the weapon he used to murder those kids.
The fact of the matter is we have plenty of laws that allow society to better manage those who are either insane and simply evil criminals but far too often, people in authority (to include parents, sadly) never utilize those legal resources.
