IMHO, there will never be another Republican President.
George Bush will be the last. And he’s GOPe (as we all know).
President Trump was the last American President. I wouldn’t call him Republican (IMHO) because so much of the GOPe still exists and did everything to sabotage President Trump. (There are still some good conservatives though)

This just proves how criminal the D party has become. It has been criminal for a long time but now they don’t have to hide it because they think they are on the cusp of a one-party state. Which is their eternal goal.

Ziade’s company is also invested in a Las Vegas project where they’re building net-zero residences, meaning it produces as much energy as it consumes. ...
Ziade wants to install these systems at houses at no cost, and believes this solution will be an alternative to the existing grid or at least provide power back to the grid and reduce the blackouts. Put aside the logistics required to install that many energy storages across Lebanon, implementing such systems will require a permission from the authorities and probably amending existing laws, which are major hurdles given how corrupt our political class is.
All in all, Ziade’s plan is highly ambitious but we need more information on it, or at least some high level implementation plan and a timeline, because the electricity crisis is a major issue that needs swift and more importantly proven solutions. He doesn’t have enough experience in the energy sector but he clearly has powerful connections so his plan could work out under the right circumstances.
Ziade & The Revolution:
I listened to Ziade’s interview with Marcel Ghanem two days ago and his tone was a bit condescending when it comes to the protesters and the revolution. He’s talking as if he knows what’s good for the Lebanese while they don’t and as if he’s doing us a great favor by coming to help. Added to that, he said a couple of times he’s coming back “one step forward, two steps back”, which again is borderline arrogance.

Besides contributions for representatives of foreign countries making donations 'in kind' to the Dems,
the current situation demonstrates the hypocrisy of the Demoratic party.
At the same time that on the Federal level, the Dims stand in opposition to the filibuster,
the Demoratic absence in the State of Texas is, essentially, a filibuster (by failing to have quorum).
Thus, they have just proved the validity and sanctity of keeping the filibuster to represent political minority voice and rights.
While, the same time, they have also demonstrated their own political ignorance and hypocrisy to their feral and Federal argument.

But Texas Republicans need to set up and invite Democrat leaders to a televised national debate to discuss this bill and each component. Perhaps they could do that while some Dems are in DC. They need to have the Dems spell out and defend what they call Jim Crow and racist in each component, instead of giving only broad claims. Let the public decide.

This is a foreign govt influence in our democratic process and the Democrats willingly collaborated.
Pay attention, these audits are revealing excellent information. From there, one state at a time, many errors will be fixed to the shame of the most corrupt, unethical, and traitorous Democrat party.
